Okay, guys - I completely understand getting offended. Think about it - you're trying to deal with all the stimuli - cars and bikes and people all over - and crime is pretty common. So someone who rides at you, and then pops that personal safe bubble by slapping your hand, you're on that line - you could get very offended, or the absurdity of the moment will cause you to smile. But you have to realize that it was a high-five, otherwise you don't get the joke, and you feel a little violated.

I miss New York a lot. I had to move back home though for personal reasons, and the fact that I was having too much fun and not saving any money. lol. New Yorkers get that common reputation from other cities that say they're assholes and whatnot, but so many people are very misinformed. I've lived there for 5 years, and Native New Yorkers are some of the nicest people I've ever met. The only assholes that live there are the ones who moved there from some other douchebag city. That's a fact!
