I just got myself a beretta 92FS and I couldn't be happier. Dont get me wrong. I love how easy to work on and simple yet reliable glocks are. I carry a 32 daily. But as of late I'm realizing why the military went for a full metal desing. When it comes down to bear materials polymer cannot compete with metal. So like you I would also take my Beretta so that if or when the polymer fails I can have my cold steel.
i never intalled night sights so i watched A YOUTUBE vid and installed them in about 20 min.you said theres not much u can do to a glock?shiiit check mine out.oh and theres an aftermaket product were u can add rails to the gen 1 glocks .
I don't think you see first gen's around very often. Still I wouldn't have payed 400 for one. In Australia those things cost 890 bucks 2 mags case instructions and all that, but as you know ur dollar is worth more than ours.
The reason for the high price was truly i didn't shop around. i went for a S&W M&P 9mm and that was 500 plus tax and i saw the glock for 375 used and in very very good condition. the only thing i regret is not having a accesories rail. but the gun is great. defenetly worth the 400
Nice review. Did you put the night sights in yourself? If so, how is it done and what tools will I need to do mine? I have the Glock 17. You can't go wrong with a Glock, of any model, no matter how old they are.
I agree, my Beretta 92FS is very accurate. I have a few Glock models and I find its accurate, but in a firefight I would take my Beretta.
