best way to put it.. AA or Anti aliasing = no Jagged edges.. and it will make you run less frame rates.. i leave mine off for the performance gain.. it will make the mouse run laggy.,. what vid card are you running?

cpu is important also... a dual core will seem a little laggy.. esp. w AA on.. this vid was made w my dual core cpu.. i have quad now.. i more than doubled my frame rates.. also. be sure you get the new drivers from nvidia.. the 185.68 beta have farcry2 performance increase. or you can just wait or the offical release.

i hate the outposts, after you scout them, they dont unlock, and you can go just out of view and the enemy will respawn.. the AI is horrible in this game.

well.. if you have the money to get a 4870 then go with the gtx 2 series

The 4870 beats the 9800GTX+ by far. If you can, try and get a 4870X2. 4870 GPUs are DDR5 so they're faster than typical DDR3 chips, and plus they generally have 1GB of video RAM per GPU.

dude.. everything is good... 2 9800gtx pretty much outperforms any single card. the quad core is good.. so buy it if your getting a deal.. if not. you can put together a badass pc for about 700

the 9800gtx is good.. but if you can change it, get a 9800gtx+ or a 260 core 216 everything else is good.. and i recommend running Vista...

nice my freind said there where driver issues with the gtx260 and its stuck around 20-40 fps but the nvidia 9800gtx can get more any help

ok man check this out i get the same frame rate you do but with a 8600gt but the only thing i did to get that was turn off the shadows lol you should try doing that and see what kinda frame rate you get in all the shadow settings if you could hit me back and tell me what you got on off setting low high

cause im about to get one of those 9800gtx's

or the gtx280 cause i just found out it would fit in my dell inspron 530 so i think i might go for it

if you want performance for price... the 9800gtx is the way to go .. but for just a little more you can get the 260 core 216 and its extra nasty.. and of course the 280 is great but way to expensive right now.

top right square of the map, follow the river up, and there is a safe house at the river side, up a little path it will be on your rader their is a propa sniper rifle to play with, and at the church thing were you get your meds off that black doctor guy their is a granade launcher... these make the game loads more fun. i brought weapon carte and put them in them, then just make another save and everytime you just wanna play, load that save.
