Get this game. Pikmin+harvest moon+ civilization(kinda). Its perfect. Also, the game doesn't mention this, but the king can attack with his staff using C.

You don't need motion controls in every game.  Look at Monster Hunter 3- Best game on the wii, no motion controls. SPM was good and didn't have motion controls. Twilight princess had the option to turn off motion controls. 3 very good games, and no motion controls.

I usually hate these sort of games but this is up there with Twilight Princess, Prime 3

And Super Mario Galaxy 2 as the best Wii game I've ever played. And I agree, I LOVE the music!

The kid doesn't have mind control powers, it makes anyone who is open to the idea of him being a king, a loyal follower of his.

If he had mind control powers he wouldn't have a single enemy.

I dont have this game yet (soon hopefully) but the fact it doesn't have motion controls is fine. Any game should only have motion controls if it works well in gameplay, not because its there and has to be used.

Wow... this is the best review of this game I've seen, I've borrowed this game from a friend and didn't get very far because I got bored or distracted & I've been spoiled by the New Pikmin Wii motion controls.

I might check this game out again..

Actually if you listen closely to the characters in Animal Crossing, you might find that they're kind of speaking poor English using some Japanese computer voice-overs. I actually played the game, and I could kinda work out some of the words they were saying. But anyway, good review, good game, might buy it for Christmas!

@deshadow52 dam youre lucky. i wanted it really bad,but didnt have a wii at the time when that came out. i just now recently got a wii and now prime trilogy is way too expensive. it goes for 100 bucks new because its out of print. i cant believe nintendo ended the print run on that game so friggin soon. metroid is only one of their biggest franchises.

@SkankinDevil89 Well their mindset is it's a collectors limited edition which kinda sucks cause they could have at least released the disc without the metal casing and the like. Also I'm sad to say it looks like they are going to do the same thing to super mario all stars 25th anniversiary collectors edition. I'm really sorry you could not get yours in time sometimes nintendo can be really stupid and wouldn't know easy profit if it slaped them in the face.

I notice that XSeed games have become a powerhouse, for quite a while. Their Localization on RPGs seem to be quite astounding, especially Rune Factory Frontier. I am also looking forward to them releasing Lunar: Silver Star Harmony on the PSP this Christmas! Other than that, that was a great review, Kwing. I'll have to try this out, sometime.

I like this review but to me personally Little King's story is my favorite Wii game of 09 so far......That could change when I get a chance to play Muramasa though. Anyways keep it up Kwing! I enjoy the reviews.

Kwife loved and hated this game at the same time. Her complaints was the season's never change. The music is always the same and no motion controls. It was a well made game though. But would have loved to review the latest Batman game. Although Muramasa is AWESOME! I can't post anything for that game until the Embargo is up next week! If you love Anime,2D action and ninjas. You will love Demon Blade. Best Wii game of 2009!!!!
