The American Revolution, meaning the British Colonists (13 colonies) splitting away from Great Britian and combining becoming the US of A.. (Before wars against what would later become Canada)
@MessyBeaver American Revolution??? To what Revolution are you referring to????... AMERICA IS A LARGEEEEEEEEEEE CONTINENTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT IT RUNS FROM TIERRA DEL FUEGO, CHILE all the way Up to the ISLAND OF KISKA IN ALASKA on the BERING SEA... IN AMERICA there were several wars of Independence from the European colonizing nations(France, Spain, Great Britain, Portugal)
@communistjesus Tierra del Fuego is in ARGENTINA - get your facts straight ¬¬ ... thats SO insulting... being an argentine, i love chile, but we are NOT one same country and our culture is quite different... so, once again, get your facts straight u.u
Saludos.. :O)
Boy I'd like to take you to bed and make love to you hour after hour, you laying ontop of me, thrusting yourself upon me like some man, making me want you more and more, the sweat slithering down my milky white ???, take me now, love me as no man has ever loved me before
I always did get a kick out of irreverent Ryan.. he seemed to delight in making Clive so flustered !! All in good fun !! :) I LOVE THIS SHOW !! I hope the re-runs live forever !!! :)
Ryan was hoping that he'd be buzzed out earlier than he did, so he wouldn't have to continue that impression. Seemed like he didn't exactly think it through =) Clive's certainly enjoying keeping him there, though.
I'm not entirely sure if I understand how the funeral game works. Could someone familiar with the UK-version tell me please? Are they supposed to be making up some song and trying to sing it correctly together or something?
i watched this just randomly - i now really want to watch lots of UK episodes. Big whoosh of early nineties! I really like the episodes with Steve, Colin, Ryan and Tony, though theres not many - Tony got chucked off the show in 1996 :(
he kinda got chucked off or left because of his depression and cocaine addiction. It was a big story in England at the time with his face on all the papers...its a sad story really.
The best line in newscasters Greg ever came out with was 'I've got someone coming in my ear...!' and he didn't realise how funny it sounded until the audience started laughing. Classic.
You know, Steve does a really nice job as a dodgems operator (bumper cars in the US, not that anyone wishes to know that). I think his physical comedy on WL is some of the best.
Lol, well it is the bloopers...but yeh, fair enough...I really don't know why I typed that...(Hits self over the head) Of course he was improvising...Lol
Thier actually ten times more better! Their the original and there's alot more variety in the contestents for example it's not the Ryan and Colin show
By "over here", I presume you mean Britain. And from the way you put it, I am also assuming (though I shouldn't) that you don't realise I'm British. I didn't even grow up in the era she was around, and I, plus most people I know, are aware of who she is.
But, I guess that is a small percentage of the population. However, I think it's going a bit far saying "nobody" knows who she is, because lots do, especially around the time Whose Line aired in Britain.
Quite simply, the proportion of the population who knows who she is over here is so small it's effectively nobody. You wouldn't be able to do a joke on primetime TV like this programme and have people know what you're talking about. That's nobody.
There was definitely a game of Party Quirks in which Tony guessed (albeit incorrectly and, I expect, for the comedic value) that John Sessions was Carol Channing. And it got a laugh. So, er... there.
yes he did it was in the us version and rather memorable as he was 'carol channing who kept getting her head stuck to things' and while headbutting drew careys desk shattered the neon light over his head but remained in character the whole time he was getting glass out of his hair!
Lol in the last one they're like 'well.... this is awkward.'
