when ever i am in a group, wether it's acing, singing, or dancing, it can be anything. but when the whole group is doing it together, i don't know. i get a really good feeling how we are all together. and even though they are compeating against each other, and i wasn't singing on stage w/ them, i got the same feeling. its as if they were all together for that short amount of time. i probably sound realy pathetic and sttupid right now, but well, yea. lol :)

@originalbeanbag I get what you're saying. I used to be in a choir and it was amazing. I loved the sense of community there is when a huge group of people are singing together. It's why I love going to concerts and singing with thousands of other people. This is why my favorite part starts at 2:06. Everyone starts dancing together and that's when the individual groups fall away and they become one unit. Believe me, you don't sound stupid. :D

@wbradley1372 Except I've noticed a lot of the crowd "reactions" are pre-recorded cheers. Take careful notice every time a new group is introduced... The cheer's always the same. =( I was very disappointed when I found that out, even though it makes sense getting sound-levels right and all). Cure you producer people... I don't want to know how you made your shows! I just want to watch them!

@9kmurphy Hm. Well I might be mistaken then (though the cheers still sound too similar to me). Some other videos have another problem where the cloud "claps" when they're just sitting there... so it must just have something to do with camera angles and scene changes. Just technicalities anyway.

One of the things I love about this show is the way all the groups support each other. I think one of the reasons this happens is because they all have to work together on those opening numbers every week. Whoever thought that up was a freakin' genius. As a result the audience never really wants to see anyone go.

to me, last season's Use Somebody is still the best group opening performance ever. but this one is still very nice. i like how they maintain the personality in each entrance. kudos to the rapper dude, him together with the kinfolk9 soloist has that Jeremy Lister aura.

@joshman929 I keep seeing comments on these videos about Cimorelli, and when I finally went and watched the videos, I couldn't see what people were all fussing about. Some of them are very good singers and good looking, but then there's this one girl who is clearly younger and also much worse than the others that brings down the overall quality of the group, and even though their harmonies are okay, they are very basic compared to many of these groups this season.
