@Acemac91 hit up craigslist for starters.. get yourself a good deal on a "akai mpc 500" (my current machine) get your self a mixer and turntable, or just a aux device that will feed you sound and sample drums off whatever,of you need pointers on how to work the akai mpc 500, shoot me some questions, ill do my best to assist you..

i jus got mpc yeah, if i press pad 1, then pad 2... the samples overlap eachother, how do i get it to stop doin it? its on mono, if i press pad 1 twice in a row i doesnt overlap but it does with other pads? help please

@RefueGizzle when you have your samples already on the pads, i usualy go to "mode" then "program" set everything on "mono" turn the wheel to the right after you are done with the mono setting, and you will see "off", im not sure what the program name is but it gives you the option to turn "on". apply "on" to all the pads and you should be straight.
