how much should i be paying for this? my friend said her mum would do it for £30 but i already have the hair and i'm not too sure why i should be paying that much xx
the clients hair is thin like mine....won't the weight of the weave sewn in pull her natural hair out? Or weaken it? When she removes the weave and combs out her hair, all the dead hair accumulated will probably be the size of a cat. I still want one though...lol
@avenueyay Its depends. If you want your extentions to stay in, then okay. It only really hurts when your braiding. Then while the extentions are getting sewed in, you only feel tugging.
im 13 and my hair is kinda short i wear clip in extensions because i always thought when people say SEWED in extentions they actually go in your head...is this better than the clip in? espceially when i wear them everyday?
I want to get my hair weaved but the prosesd is confusing. I have clip in extentions that i put in every morning buut they are starting to bother me. So i have a few questions.
1.) do they take the braid out when done.?
2.) can yu feel it in yur hair.?
3.) is it safe to be in the rain or to swim or shower with them on.?
4.) does it damage yur hair.?
5.) how much do they usually cost.? Thats all., if yu can answer these i would be very grateful. Thank you
@LoveToSing345 1. They dont take the braid out when they finish, if they did that the extensions would fall out lol. 2. Yes you can feel it in your hair, but only a little bit. 3.If the hair is 100% real human hair especially remy hair it will not get damaged in rain or shower, but not so sure in clorine, i dont think clorine is a good idea. 4. It doesnt damage your hair, but it will be a bit painful and achy for the first couple of days you get it done. 5. Around £100 for good quality hair
how much is a hair weave usually ?? cuz i just went to a salon and the lady told me $250 for the work and you have to bring me the hair extensions as well... i was hoping to get it done for $200 at the most. with it including the extensions . its all I have...
sweetie ask around....You can buy the hair you like and have someone install...and $200 is definitely reasonable...don't be bound by race. Women of all races wear extensions. often the hair and extensions in a non-black salon will cost more..not quite sure why...Perhaps visit an asian beauty supply store. You can purchase your hair and often there are business cards near the register. call some of the stylists ask for prices and pics of their work. hope that helps
Hmm..where do you live? Japan and korea extensions and beauty items are nice though. The ones I've gone to are asian beauty stores in the black areas of town. Sometimes people don't think to go here thinking that they are only for blacks...not true. hair is hair. (that's the secret these companies get rich on. ) Same with hair care products. Use what works. When you go to one, the higher priced items are behind counter. Ask and they'll help you out. Hope that helps hon.
White girls weave too. They usually want to add volume, not necessarily length since it''s often already long. Their hair is often fine texture and thin too. It's just that they get their weaves on the low. Black women often treat hair like a fashion accessory. And are more out with it than others. Asian and hispanic get weaves too.
@westonxxx because other races dont know when people are wearing fake hair or wigs for the most part. But black people for the most part grow up around all the new hair trrends with artifical hair or wigs or whatever it maybe... I think that is the only thing I can think of
@orange jello it depends on what hair you use but I've done weaves for under $10 for myself or up to $55 for intricate looks I'm gonna keep for a while. If you go to a salon though they're gonna charge you a few hundred.
@mercynre whats ur take on woven extensions vs glued? Do they come out or frizz/tangle easily? (Using human hair that is, i know synthetic typically sucks)
wow your really good. the lady who did my weave once sucked, it took forever and it hurt alot & i have never gotten a weave since then but maybe i just need to find a diffrent person.
I noticed that your website is in Canada. Where in Canada are you? I got weve put in in October in Montreal and now that it is getting loose and I can feel it coming loose. I have to find a hair salon who can do it for me and I am getting my mom to send up the stuff that need to do the weave. I live in a town where there is no black hairstylist but in the future I am going to be one.
do u know how long can we leave the weave on our hair? that's interesting, i wanna try it once, but i afraid it will affect our hair later on... can u tell me some good tips.. ??
thanks for the vid it help alot but do u have to leave a bit of hair at the top ? coz my hair is multicolored at the mome lol coz if u do leave a bit hair at the top id better run to the salon!!
how do you expect the weave to stay in if you don't leave the braids in. You can still wash your hair it's not like the water isn't going to be able to reach your scalp you just don't want to use a real heavy shampoo cause it will be hard to wash out of the braids.
it depends on what products you use and how you treat your hair, but i should say at least 2-4 months :) its important that you make sure to use a good conditioner and treatment products for the extensions hair because they don't get the same "oil" from the roots that your own hair naturally gets. Hope it helps! (sorry am not very good at english)
This would be a great technique for a woman of an African descent, however ,I do not think is a great technique for European based hair. Also when you sew through the weft you weaken it, causing the hair to shed a lot. Overall good job..
When my hair started growing out I cut the weave out. I lost this huge chunk of hair and lawled. But my hair grew really fast! So I didn't look like a dike anymore when I took it out. aww wish u were i nToronto..I have suffered severe hair loss as a result of gluing in my weave for 3 yrs straight with no breaks inbetween washing..I got so addicted to the flat look..now I barely have enough hair to cover my tracks..I really messed it up..do you know if the hair will ever grow back, Im thinking of getting a sew in, but not sure if I have enough hair to do it ;(

Black women always attack the wig first when involved in a physical altercation with another woman. Why is this?? PLEASE tell me..
Surely, a black woman (with artificial hair) would appreciated the value of another woman's hairpiece.
