Having 9 years of marital arts training myself (I am 13 and I started at the age of 4) the tornado kick normally doesn't land but it sets the fighter up for a hook kick. I have knocked people out with both the tornado kick and a hook kick. I also have been knocked out by a hook kick or tornado kick. The fighter should have kept his hands up at all times and he wouldn't have been knocked out. Legal win but the black trunks was under trained for that fight.

I did TKD for a long time and I currently do Muay Thai and I love Muay Thai and think it is the greatest martial arts for me. But I must admit Muay thai fighter can never ever kick like that. When it comes to kicks, nothing beats Korean TaeKwonDo. Only Brazilian Capoeira comes even close. TKD kick is the best there is in any martial art form known to mankind. I say this even though I know that Muay Thai is a more effective fighting form overall.
