This year I've lost everything - my job, my finances, some of my friends, a romantic interest - and now I'm on the verge of losing my apartment. I can barely afford to pay for food. I've lost my discipline and have resorted to smoking cigarettes (in response to the stress) again after having quit. I don't know what's going on. I'm so uncertain. My life is falling apart. I'm in the middle of selling all of my things just to somehow come up with the funds for rent. I need you Jesus!!!

I was two weeks from being homeless in April of this year, and I was absolutely terrified. Please keep me posted and I will continue to pray. God is well able to bring you out of where you are. @katmariebokon Lord please restore us. Let us have our stuff back, only now maybe we shall put You before it all and thank you for it. Pain and loss cannot be denied. If we do get our stuff back, we will know who gave it back to us and know who can take it away again. Lord please have mercy on us who suffer loss. Let us live again with our stuff but know that you own it. And let us thank you for it every day.Give us our daily bread and most of all forgive us our sins as we forgive others. Amen.

oh girl..i have NEVER been in a trial like this.this is just completely insane...i wonder if God is preparing me for something.lost my job, my momma and my home within 10 months of each other.what is going on?? im trying soooooo hard to have faith and keep going.

I think sometimes the Lord just lets everything get stripped from us so He can build us over in His image, and it is SOOO painful when that is happening! This is the absolute worse season of trials in my life....Fiance left me and is with another man, financially I am shot, I have no job, about to be kicked out of my apartment. Speak less of these things I am being slandered by my ex-fiance. It is literally insane...God is able to save though. Pray for me cuz I was beaten down. The tempations were great to seek comfort in the flesh but God helped me to repent and I am strong in Him.

you already say it Glynda god is preparing us for the battle against the great giant. when we go through all the trial of life is just to make us strong to know if god had gotten us through it the first time we will know without a doubt he'll do it again. we wont face the devil that come against us because we'll already know he is the great deceiver of all time and we wont be deceive or face by what ever he throw our ways because we are more than a conquer and we ALREADY WONNNNNN.

I agree something is going on in the spirit world, because God has been telling me to guard my heart from temptation for the past couple months. This is just after I got out some serious ordeal. This is just confirmation to his words.

You know it! I may be getting slammed, but I am really getting closer to Jesus too!

Yesterday i heard very strongly "effectual fervent". I tweeted James 5:16 and found other ppl had that scripture brought 2 their remembrance too. God wants us to seek Him in Spirit and graduate from the "now i lay me down to sleep" prayers!

He's in the fire with us! Let's learn something from it and watch in amazement how our Lord shows off!

I feel you've really hit the nail on the head with this one. I've experienced this same thing. Now I'm not sure if I'm finally in a break period or if I'm still in the fire but haven't noticed yet because the situation has been switched. Either way I felt a lot of truth to your words. Bless you.
