  • @TheCirtas Could it be a fuzzbox?

  • @Kingbeebuzz I don´t know, i´ve never played with fuzzbox, but if you set wah wah on and hold in one place, it produces that tone.. maybe i´m wrong, any other opinions ? :)

  • @TheCirtas It's a Leslie speaker. We used them often in the 70s for guitar as well as organ.

  • @Kingbeebuzz saw an interview once, johnny said the only effect that he use is a fhaser, the rest is his fingers and soul

  • Comment removed

  • @1972shredder This IS a live recording from "The Old Grey Whistle Test" music show.

  • Originally done by Willie Brown back in 1930.

Covered well also by Stefan Grosman.

  • @taildragger53 wasn't Willie Brown a friend of Robert Johnson's made reference to in his song "Crossroads"?

  • @g0ldbuG Willie Brown (1900-1952) was a Delta Bluesman and friend of Robert Johnson.

  • johnny has a really amazing blues voice. this is one of the saddest blues songs i know.
