I took my kids to see this movie at a the drive in before the last one closed. It was part of a triple movie all night things. or as they called it back then war wagon night, becuase every one would pack as many as they could get into a car for no extra charge.

I Guess I Have To Be A Kid Again To Be Scared. Now It's Just Funny With Their Robot Acting And Those Funny Jungle Noises. Even The Maggots Talk.=)) At The End, All It Takes To Stop Them Is A Simple Poke In The Gut And Some Fire? Aren't They Use To Fire In Hell?? I saw this movie in '84 when it came out and it scared the Sh*t outta me! Seeing this again tonight I just sat and laughed. I just kept imagining me and Tom Servo and Crow sitting in the front row riffing on it.

@kasnk i read online that the boy was supposed to be turning into a zombie as he ran towards them. there is also more after wards that shows darkness, the camera is moving. there are shapes being passed by. that was a problem due to damaged film that was never recovered/:

Love teh sheep intestines coming out of her mouth. I used to laugh while it happened. It was so fake, yet I had read that the director made the girl keep sheep intestines in her mouth and slowly open her mouth to show her stomach being destroyed by the dead priest

Watched this movie as a child, too. I was very sad to hear, that we here in germany only can get the cut version. And when i say cut, i mean CUT like no drop of bloody scene is to see on the dvd...Why should sb watch a gore-splatter-movie without these essential scenes? that makes no sense... ;o) Thats why I´m saying thanx very much for uploading! Now I can laugh about moments in the movie which scared me to death when I was young.
