  • not good

  • Laudate pueri ? Only a few boys ? Laudate puellae. And - where is the "Beati" ?

    Perhaps at my channel...:)

  • i also sang in a choir. an this one was one of my favs =D.

this sounds nice but its too slow.

    but i like it :)

  • Thank you for sharing this video!

  • I'm singing this song in my high school treble choir. I think they totally do it better.

  • By them I do mean the children's choir not us. Hahah

  • i love this song so much, i sang it last year as a freshman in high school in our womens glee club as a contest piece. it's beautiful!

  • it's so slow^^ i love it YES I AM 19 years old and i like classical music..;)

  • Hahaha, I love your comment! I'm 22 and a graduate student in composition and conducting, and I'm never ashamed to love classical music. Actually I think Mendelssohn can be quite a dope at times, but this is one of the better choral pieces by him I've come across. I'm conducting it right now with a men's chorus, and until recently I was taking it this slowly too... it does kinda drag, doesn't it?

  • About a year ago, I had signed up for the Women's Treble Region choir and sang this song in front of a HUGE audience. I love it SO much. I am 17 and I would love to experience it all again. It was great!!!

  • I Sang this song! I was S2

  • I sang that song when i whas 11... it is so BEAUTIFOUL!!

Laudate Pueri Dominum laudate nomen domino nomen domini.. sit nomen do mi ni bennedictum.... lalala

  • You can tell the children worked on this beautiful piece of work thoroughly... Some very concentrated children in the back row...

  • Los de Tölz lo hacen mejor... :-) ¡Sigan trabajando!

  • ~Lovely ^ ^ Sang this myself for my high school choir christmas special. They great for age n_n

  • Omg i have to learn this song now for al region competition in arkansas

  • I have to do this song for districts this saturday in VA

  • We sang this in 1984 , Sweden; Nacka music classes. Sounded a bit more.. yes fluent :S A bit slow version, I think.

  • i used to sing this song when i was 10.since then i have never sang it again.they said the choir wasn't good enough to go to the competition with it and that it was too little of us.but it wasn't.when i sang it we were only 23 in choir and we actually won a gold medal at the competition.five years later i left that choir and joined the other one and i still haven't sang this song.this video just makes me cry becouse i remember how happy i was when i sang the song.

  • We sing this in choir, too! But we usually sing it a bit faster (about 120 bpm I think).

In my opinion that makes it a bit more fluent.

  • for being so young they sound very nice.

  • nice. but the kids arent concentrated enough on what theyre singing.

  • You are right, they seem not to have energy, not to feel what they sing... Oh, not enough spirit... I think of the version of Tölzer Knabenchor in a cd that contains Mozarts Canons too: That's moving! When you can hear this version...

  • tkbewinderin79...thank you for the referral to the TOLZER....

ps how do you get the umlaut on your computer?
