  • Yo thats messed up!?

  • is that tiger albino

  • @kfly12345 No, white tigers aren't albino, they have blue/green eyes and their dark stripes, white tigers are created through severe inbreeding :(

  • tigers rock baby!

  • Bred for it's skills in magic...

  • this lion looks bored as **** =P

  • why there is no pink tiger in this world ?

  • tigers rock

  • tigers rule

  • 5:35-5:53 *White Tiger* Let's get a few rolls in for the camera. Ah, there you go. Quick and easy.

6:01-6:17 *Lion* (Yawns) Oh, you want to see me roll too? OKay, here we go. Old bones don't work like they used to. Don't move as fast I used to when I was young lad.

  • you mean LION + TIGER = LIGER

  • This is so cute.

  • god..

  • @Mark93940 lol

  • did they get the idea of breeding a liger from napoleon dynamite???

  • @cutiesyx No, people have unfortunately been breeding ligers for a long time.

  • He tries to be cute but I dare you put an arm inside!

  • i loved it

  • @Taytortot627 was that the white caspian tiger? 2:31

  • awww she like hid beard

  • What is wrong with the song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • XXX

  • No offense, but they look pretty good in there.

  • white tigers are just too cute =3

  • @BigCatResque Are Ligers a rare species?

  • @LOVEjustinbieber1346 They are rare cats, but they are not a species, they are a man made animal that doesn't exist in the wild, so the answer to your question is no.

  • @LOVEjustinbieber1346 They are rare cats, but they are not a species, they are a man made animal that doesn't exist in the wild, so the answer to your question is no.

  • @BigCatRescue man made animal? what does that mean? sounds painful

  • @118scarface It means they don't exist in the wild and the only reason they do exist is due to ignorant, selfish people breeding them in captivity :(

  • @BigCatRescue oh....so...its animal abuse...prettty much right?

  • @118scarface Correct.

  • @BigCatRescue in paw comparison which has the bigger paw? lion or liger?

  • @118scarface Liger

  • lions look badass man!

  • Now that's what i call jungle fever.

  • People are stupid when they say they rescue that lion they dont need are help if anything we are doong is make them sad because there not in the wild there in a stupid liltle cage thats and you call that rescue they need to run free lets see people leaving in cage for years a tell if they like it dont think so

  • @kyovslori We wish they could be in the wild but privately owned captive cats will never be released in to the wild as their genetic history is unknown and they lack many things required to survive. We are the next best thing for these rescued animals :)

  • combining lions and tigers is like combing blacks and whites. saying its bad, is racist :D

  • @Bullpuma Not true, tigers and lions are different species, so it isn't natural for them to breed.

  • @Bullpuma its more like breeding a horse and a donkey, the liger is sterile

  • both of them are such a nice couple!!!!!

  • You can't say that all Ligers are kept in unsafe enviorments and you can't say that ALL ligers are unhealthy, That's like saying all human beings are homeless. if you agree give me a thumbs up.

  • You can't say ALL ligers are unhealthy. Thats like saying every human being has down syndrome. Any one who agrees, give me a thumbs down. any one who disagrees go back to being a vegan... hippie.

  • @PilotHumorInc if we compare breeding ligers to humans, it would be like people and chimps reproducing, so of course all ligers are unhealthy.

  • @BigCatRescue Your human/chimp breeding comparison is insensible because they can't be bred together at all. Big cats are much more closely related to each other by species than humans and any animal because they can interbred. In general I don't see the point in breeding any sterile animal hybrids. Yet mules have been produced for centuries.

  • whtf hapened at the end :S

did YOU mate with the cat???

  • @taz666the23rd No, we don't breed at BCR :)

  • ii have a question. so if the cats are 'altered'to not breed wouldnt that pose a problem as well? why not just keep them seperated or let nature run its course by putting them back in their respective habitats? how would you like to be spade or neutered without consent? thats just not fair to the animal. just stating my opinion

  • @cgkceo Whenever cats are living together when we rescue them we try and keep them together so they have some companionship over the years and because we do not breed instead put our resources towards rescuing more big cats we have to spay and neuter. Not only does this stop any unwanted cubs from being born it also calms the cats down so they will live in captivity more easily, big cats cannot be released in to the wild.

  • for me the LIGER IS THE SOLUTION, creat a cat that people would use, instead of poaching and to prevent the blood line from contmainent.

  • @16and30 This makes no sense

  • I actually don't see how altering the cats so they dont breed isn't wrong. To be completely honest? =/

  • @MissRozaRomance We do not breed at Big Cat Rescue, this would just be adding to the problem of big cats living their lives in a cage. There's also no release programs for captive bred big cats, if we cannot save the cats already in the wild we are in serious trouble :(

  • @BigCatRescue what do you think if one of them die, what would happen???

  • The lion just wants a tummy rub. I'd pet him =) Big cats don't scare me, they just big house cats :P But yeah they hurt people mostly by accident. They don't realize their own strength/size. My house cats bite/claw in play they just too small to hurt. Big cats act just the same.

  • @Loviekinz I wouldn't pet Cameron the lion, he may llok cute and cuddly but after working around these cats for many years you know how quickly this can change!

  • that lions has lot of manes that means lot of hair in his neck

  • Dam that lion has lots off vanes he must be good at fighting

  • Damm that lion has lots off vanes he must be good at fighting

  • wth this is wat they do all day?

  • They are zoo Lion & Tiger. So they became not so wild compare to those in the wild life.

  • They should be walking and running and hunting, they have so much energy and power in them :(

  • Man they in love how sweet lol

  • wtf on 2:33

  • why does the lion seem sad

  • @MonsterHunterMan414 He might be, Cameron is stuck living his life in a cage unfortunately. They do have the best life we can give them in captivity thought, they have a HUGE enclosure, great diet and regular enrichment :)

  • @BigCatRescue

yeahhh it's so sad to see :(

It's such a waste... All those people who kill them or keep them in captivity..

That's why you all are doing such a great job..

  • first of all, when a liger is born it does not kill the mother from huge size.and second of all, ligers are healthy.so if u agree with me give me thumbs up.if not thumbs down.

  • @maxwell1O Are you a liger expert?

  • @BigCatRescue no i am not.

  • @BigCatRescue nope

  • @BigCatRescue Well usually hybrids have something called hybrid vigor. Hybrid vigor definitely affected its size. I know in some hybrids the fertility rate is extremely high and in some not fertile.

  • @wan2shuffle Hybrid vigour is made up nonsense

  • @BigCatRescue Ok thnx. showed me exactly how much you know about hybrids. xD

  • @BigCatRescue Hybrid vigor is definitely real. Hybrid Colubrid snakes for example, They grow faster than either parent, Live the same age or even longer than the parent species. Usually great feeders. And have a very high fertility rate in comparison to the parent species. You are more likely to get mental/physical problems in the offspring with inbreeding than hybridization :)

  • @wan2shuffle This is just true with snakes or this particular snake breed in particular, ligers have a shortened lifespan, health problems and are sterile.

  • @BigCatRescue No.

  • @maxwell1O

you're clearly misinformed, ligers have millions of health problems as do MOST crossbreeds.

  • @maxwell1O i hope so ur doin well

  • @maxwell1O iunno about healthy, but i hear they can't reproduce since they're like mules

  • @twisto yea i think ur right about that

  • You guys should get in touch with the MOVE Organization. They are a strong committed organization fully dedicated in the liberation of animals and of all life. It would be too bad not to know about MOVE. Please check them out!

  • i wish i could roar like a lion

  • jesus what a beast im mean just watch it again

  • ligers are cool ligers FTW

  • LOL it's like a cat drama

  • I think the lion and the tigress are in love :) the liger might come anyway xD

  • this lion is sad

  • I've been watching your videos and I'm wondering: how do you feel about big cat animal actors? (for example the tigers in Two Brothers)

  • @CaliphoneSeif Hi, sorry for the late reply your question slipped under the radar! Well breeding big cats or any animals for that matter just to make them "perform" in entertainment acts and for TV/film is wrong in our eyes. I wonder what happened to those two tigers, so many big cats are bred each year just to spend their lives in cages...miserable and all in the name of "entertainment"

  • Wow,I never knew that it was bad..I mean white tigers are rare, and they use them for expirements decreasing their population and increasing ligers...

  • they aren't unhealthy, just look at Hercules the Liger

  • @HamiltonTran Look as nothing to do with it really, they have internal problems, neurological problems, the bottom line is that they shouldn't exist and the people who do breed these cats are ignorant and selfish, just wanting to profit form these hybrid cats :(

  • @BigCatRescue

I didn't mean literally look, go watch the videos that LigerChannel on YouTube makes, the owner explains how healthy Hercules is. And what internal/neurological problems do you mean exactly?

  • @HamiltonTran I know but that's what it comes down to if an animal looks healthy and somebody who breeds them for profit says that he is, doesn't mean it's true.

  • @BigCatRescue

Okay... but you're still not answering my question. What internal/neurological do you mean, specifically?

  • 1:19 sounds like he's saying home

  • Notice how big male lion at 1.05 reacts to police siren funny!!!!

  • what are the difference between a white Lion and a White Tiger? if a Liger was released into they wild would the survive?

  • @joshuavdbergh White lions do exist in small numbers in south africa, white tigers aren't found in the wild. They are both bred in captivity, often inbred to get the white color. A liger will never be released into the wild, I'm sure they could survive somehow despite their huge size slowing them down?

  • @BigCatRescue thank you for your responce, sorry to keep asking but Do white Lions have the same problems as white Tigers?

  • @joshuavdbergh Yes when they are inbred they have health problems like the white tiger.

  • @joshuavdbergh i think so idk if there fast enough but they could never become their own species because they are not capable of producing offspring

  • Having animals captured just for entertainment is just wrong! But i just need to know whats the name of this beatiful tune!! Anyone knows?

  • I dont think we schould mess with animals like this, having them in cages is just enough in my opinion. I mean, they are living breathing things(!) that deserves to be free just like us. People are terrified when they heard that someone in a guerilla camp was held for 17 years, but having animals held for a lifetime suprisingly doesnt matter.. Why not rename all zoos to animals prisons. Its almost the same. And whats the name of the beautiful music?

  • @multihollowz

all male Ligers are sterile, 70% of the females are sterile too, 4 out of 10 are born with malfunctioning organs or mental sickness and you call that evolution? They are producing animals that are good for shows since they are so insanely huge, but they can't really survive on their own. Most Ligers even die within the first 3 years after their birth.

  • @multihollowz this isn't evolving when ligers are unhealthy animals.

  • if you cant save them....then release them back into the wild ffs.

chopping there huts off and spaying the females is not how to save them.

plus if theres to many in captivity.STOP FUCKING TAKING THEM return them to the wild ffs

  • @chmarr There's no program that breeds lions/tigers for release back into the wild and never will be, all our cats are rescued form bad situations and we fix them because we don't want to add to the problem of cats living in cages. Especially when we want to rescue as many as possible.

  • I love them~~so Q

  • and its like a love story if you ask me =]

  • wait...do you mean lion and tiger?cause vs means youre going against or against period...but good video anyways..like the music

  • Are white tigers never allowed to breed? Like if they were would it just cause more problems for its cubs? And does anyone know about white lions?

  • White tigers shouldn't be allowed to breed, because as you say there will definitely be health problems for the cubs. White lions exist in the wild in parts of africa and are caused by the recessive genes that produce white tigers.

  • The the white tiger in the video was breed with a family member of her's and that is the only way to get more of them? That's sad they can never mate.

  • next time they will be what?

    godzilla+ lion?

    or

    whale+ lion xD

  • @conseilasgard No it won't. Both tiges and lions have very similar genetic structures including the number of chromosomes.

  • or idiot + dumbass =conseilasgard

  • Well it can be reAl

  • its very lion-tiger pornotime

  • @sn06daniel lol good one

  • Its lion weds tiger = liger

  • lol chipmunk and grizzly bears = chipply bears

  • i completely agree with you that it should not be forced on an animal to be unnaturally breed but there is nothing you can do if it happens in the wild

  • This would never happen in the wild lions and tigers do not live in the same areas of the world and if they did cross paths they would fight not breed :)

  • @BigCatRescue i was just sayin if it did like...i know its vetually impossible but anything can happen these days yanno!:)

  • i wanna see liger vs bear haha

  • i want to see a liger.,.,its so cool a lion and a tiger are going together.,.,hanip talaga.,.,

  • We have a few videos featuring Freckles our liger at BCR. Ligers just like white tigers suffer from health and mental problems due to the unnatural breeding processes.

  • ...ugh, was the rest of my reply posted? the comment system is acting weird

  • What do you have to say about heterosis, also known as hybrid vigour? It is when two species produce a hybrid that gets the best qualities from either parent. Hybrid vigour has been used in agriculture for centuries. Corn, pine cones, snakes, lizards, and fish have the potential to display hybrid vigour if hybridized... What is your response to this?

  • Hi, sorry I have no idea about the subject you're talking about :) i just pick up tiger poop and make videos. My own personal view is, if it's not natural don't do it? What do you think?

  • Well if thats the case we should not drive cars, use computers, live in modern houses or go see a doctor when we become ill. We should live on savannahs or in forests in simple huts we craft ourselves. Food should be obtained by gathering plants and hunting.... In other words, the "natural" way for us to live is as hunter-gatherers not as modern city dwellers. Thats what I think.

  • Hybrid vigor only occurs with certain crosses. I don't see how it is relevant to this discussion, as ligers do not gain any benefits from being hybridized, and they cannot reproduce, meaning each time a lion and tiger have to be bred, and the mother has to be put through the risk of birthing a cub larger than she is meant to birth. Additionally, the only purpose for which ligers are bred is for entertainment, despite the fact that - (continued)

  • they dont look very happy

  • The liger is a hybrid cross between a male lion (Panthera leo) and a tigress (Panthera tigris), hence has parents with the same genus but of different species. It is distinct from the similar hybrid tiglon. It is the largest of all cats and extant felines due to hybrid vigour.

  • I've got a question now: what about the rare white tigers that we see in many in zoos, are they ligers in reality?

  • No, ligers are a cross between a male lion and a female tiger, white tigers aren't a rare sub-species of tiger, the white color is caused by a double recessive gene. These cats are often produced by inbreeding related cats that people know carry this gene, causing many physical problems for the tigers.

  • is Hercules father really dead?

  • Sorry, I have no idea?

  • is Hercules father really dead??

  • Dr. Bhagavan "Doc" Antle claims that many myths such as Ligers being sterile and that ligers are more prone do disease and are unnatural etc are simply false. He claims that they live just as long as lions and tigers in captivity and therefore breeding them isnt unethical. What do you have to say about him and his statements?

  • Only a person who makes profit from these animals would say things like this.

  • Dr. Bhagavan "Doc" Antle claims that in fact many of the myths such as Ligers being sterile, having unnatural defects and generally being unhealthy are false. He claims that Ligers live just as longs as other big cats and therefore creating them is not unethical. What do you have to say about him?

  • WOW MAN the lion at 0:38 is beautiful =)

  • That music was just beautiful, however I still dont understand how the breeding of ligers is an abusive practice. Iver heard that different species will interbreed without human assistance when given the opportunity (if they share living space).

  • It's abusive because these two species shouldn't be living together in the first place. Breeding lions with tigers is a unhealthy practice, ligers suffer from many different problems and it puts the tigress at risk also with the larger cubs.

  • I see BCR uses spay/neuter as a standard practice. But how do you control their weight gain and hormonal imbalance caused by this practice? Not knocking you, but I've known a couple of privately owned big cats and their owner said that he had a difficult time with this and did advocate separation of males/females as the better alternative 'for health reasons'. And no he does not allow breading at his facility.

  • do you know hurcules the liger?

  • Yes, I've heard of Hercules, why?

  • Hurc's mom is alive today, and his father is dead. killed by a bengal tiger.

  • wtf the beginning is like a soap opera

  • is this cat porn lol

  • @imnotplayinwithyall4

    Gay cat porn!

  • Ooops! My bad! I learned a little more about Kenny. I understand that the folks who cared for him, loved him very much. He was a frequent and friendly "chuffer". He was lucky to be alive - I am sure most white tiger cubs that are born with defects as severe as Kenny's are unceremoniously killed.
