We (Britain) and the US should have acted years ago ..its too late now. Did you see that Song class submarine that popped up in the middle of a huge US Naval war games exercise? it tracked the battlegroup and then popped up right in the middle...the US Navy never even knew it was there. it was within striking distance of the KittyHawk.

They dont frighten me..but they sure as hel frighten the US and UK's leaders. When the Chinese premiere visited the states in an attempt to play down China's growing power Washington declared it was not a full state visit and Bush only "allowed" them an hour of his time...since then the Chinese have increasingly set the time tables and conditions. With the technology they now posses , and new tech they are developing coupled with hard training and sheer strength in numbers,they wont be easy.

Is this a science fiction idea..Atomic submarine's atomic clock. Can be powered and energized by a solar clock but doesn't use sun power but only by laser light which is absorbed in clock's solar panel cells or photo voltaic cells which absorb laser light, converts it to electrical power then sends it to it's atomic submarine clock.The reason to use this. Not smart to have any electrical wires any were around atomic things;not fire safe, compared to laser beam which is safe even if cut.

Wrong. That one in the vid is a nuclear ballistic missile submarine. Altogether, there are 9 nuclear submarines of 4 classes (2 ballistic missile 2 attack ) in the chinese fleet. Not as good as a Los Angeles/Seawolf/Virginia but nuclear nonetheless.
