So, what are your best times at Shanghai? As I posted earlier, I'm sorry I can't prove it with a vid, but try it anyway. You'd be hard pressed to squeeze another drop outta that Ferrari to beat a 1:32.640. I know it can be done, because that particular lap was not perfect.
In contrast to the Ferrari, I ran the same set-up on the Midland F1 w/ Tiago Monteiro and was able to run respectable 1:35.538 when normally it would run in the 1:36's and 7's. It could have gone faster but only at the risk of cornering stability/mechanical grip.
Hard Difficulty is hard but not impossible. (for me anyway) you really have to put in the seat time and get the set-up just right. Margin of error is small and the times required to secure pole are much higher than easy or medium.
China, Shangai fastest lap of 1:32.744 (Official - 3 laps of fuel), (Unofficially 1:32.640, was able to run a clean lap and with almost no fuel left in the tank)
Settings
I finished the Shangai GP this weekend. I chose Ferrari - Massa - HARD Difficulty - No Driving Aids - Full Race Distance / 2 Pit Stop strategy - (1st stop - lap 18 -/- 2nd stop - lap 37) - Dry Weather - Real Damage - Component Failure On - Penalties On - Flags On.
For those who know, it is easier to do, but it is still hard. The margin for error is small and the times required are tight. Best medicine for HARD Difficulty is SEAT TIME. ;)
