He has done crack, experimenting with drugs is a bull shit term. He did crack like all other rock stars of his time. The difference there is that his other band mates never had to distroy there lungs with singing on top of drugs.

Axls way of pulling his voice back sounds great but kills his voice in the long term. Add drugs and this is what you get. You can easly tell now cause he gets out of breath and his voice just dies at times.
