High side kick does work. I've been hit with it before during a TKD sparring session, but it didn't knock me out. When you go high like that with a side kick or a front kick you have position your body so that the power you generated from your hips isn't cut off. Basically, just have good balance.

@ismel01 then he did a diamond cutter, not an rko. the reason the rko is so pathetic is because it's just a one-handed jumping ace crusher. with the diamond cutter, you brace the opponent's head with both your arms so it's actually locked in place and can cause serious neck damage because the head stops moving and the body doesnt.
