Oh boy, I know exactly what you mean. When I started I used the spore creature creator, sold before the spore game, and that happened with my creatures. I never understood why, and the issue only cleared up when I purchased and installed the SPORE game. My advice...? I'm afraid I've got none. I never understood why it was happening to me. Sorry... maybe someone can help you on Sporepedia? I think they have a help section.
