ok ive always used distance and my math calculate my balistics, or mil and estimate. the range finder is just quicker and used to double check me. My question is how is the range finder suposed to know your caliber, twist rate, bullet grain and powder load. up to 1000 yards it would also need the tempature, humidity, baromic pressure, elevation. ...i dont know about this one.
@mgd777 There are different groups that Leupold has pre determined for caliber etc. You select the correct group and zero your rifle at the requested distance and it will tell you where to hold. Please ask if you have any further questions.
