And whats with the names of these training aids. In Ireland I've learned, that running rein are mostly called "German rains" I guess we have to take the blame for that. There is a lot of crappy riding going on lately. But I've never seen the so called "German Martingale". It's completely new to me. And there are a LOT of more or less dangerous and useless training aids on the market here :o)
After watching both parts of this video, I am truley thankful that i have come across your techniques. I live in the US, and I am wondering if the German martingales here are of the same quality or offer the same effect. I own an off-track thoroughbred who struggles with collection because of pain as well as confusion of what I am asking him to do.
@allyssanicole94 Hi There. I can't answer that one as I haven't been to the US but mine are the best in this Country as the rest are substandard and I have fixed all of that. Email me and I shall send you a 130 Page e-book on the subject. Regards. Mr. HP
How often and for how long would you recommend to use german martingale? When can I stop use them, and proceed without the german martingale?
I get the feeling that if I use this too much, I might not get the horse to flex without the german martingale. I have seen people use helping-equipment too much, and that they simply can't ride the horse collected without them, and I don't want that to happen. Thanks for this video :)
I see no long term damage done but have also experimented and noticed very positive Veterinary improvements in HOrses that are suspect in the stifle or sacro. The building of longitudinal muscles, top line and build up and repair of stifle and sacro issues is real. However, due to my horselaw com au site, it is my secret weapon for the diagnosis of Veterinary issues, both real or Rider induced. Regards
all are free to go to my website and email me and I will send you all a 145 page e-book on the subject
