Here's a note: You can always spell to the card in the 21 card version by somehow moving a card to the top. Once you have reassembled the deck, move a card from bottom to top, and spell the card's name using 12 letters (Bob Longe's method).

that works with 27 cards and 21 cards, at the end of the 27 card trick its gonna be the 14th card, and at the end of the 21 its gonna be the 11th card....
