If you welcomed the British ,then accept the consequenses.In the 1900 Buganda agreement,land was divided into two(Crown and Mailo land)Crown land for government(at that time British govnt)now ug govnt.So the administrative headquaters ,schools,universities ,hospitals and churches were built.This was not only in Buganda but in the other kingdoms as well.
What disgusts me about the Baganda is their egoism.They personalise everything.This land they keep singing about was also stolen from Bunyoro during colonial times just because baganda collaborated with the British.The Buganda kings sold ugandans as slaves to the arabs in exchange for guns which they used to fight Kabalega.out of the 20 counties now,only 3 belonged to Buganda.
