I don't think this sounds like anything by Alanis, but if anyone wants to make a comparison, check out Can't Not from Alanis' "Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie" (the album version). To me it sounds like a cross between the styles of the two albums. In fact, both albums were released in the same year.

well XanBcoo is right. this song is from 1998 and the first time Scott Matthew - Lithium Flower appeared was i think 2002. i love lithium flower but i must say that this "origin"(i'm not sure to call it "origin",cause i think matthew didnt copy it - he was inspired by this version - in my opinion) is also very nice
