The exact model of printer and the software isn't that important. The critical part is that you must use dye sublimation ink and a printer profile. So find out which models of printer they sell cartridges for, and what software supports printer profiles. The tiles are not just any tiles, they are coated with a special polymer (polyester) coating that absorbs the dye in the heat press.
There is a cheaper version of Photoshop, there is Corel Photopaint, although I prefer Corel PaintShop Pro.

great video what kind of printer do you use to make your transfer and kind of software? it is safe and won't get scrath when you do it in tile.
