You should tell people to choose the "incredible" box after watching your videos Bucky! :) I notice that Phillip Defraco always remembers to tell people to hit the "like button" at both the beginning AND end of his videos and it's a good idea because most people forget to hit the like button. Even I do it. And I notice that almost no one chooses the drop down list to the right of this comment box. I hope The New Boston gets even bigger Bucky!!! :)
@computerbizarre For which programming language? If you're programming in Java then I recommend Eclipse or NetBeans, and different languages have different specialised software (called IDE's) designed for that language. For javascript and html and stuff, just use a program called 'notepad++' (it's what Bucky's using and it's free!)
Im watching ALL your videos... one at a time... teaching myself .js with your help.... i'll do 5 lessons a day... go along with what you teach.... take notes and do the same things you do in notepad++ ...... this is awesome dude! great way for me to learn... kudos!
@foamyrocks665 You need to make it into document.write(name + " " + age); the reason is java script ignores spaces outside of quotation marks unless specifically coded that way or if you add a space within quotation marks. For example if you do document.write(name+age); ,document.write(name + age); document.write(name +age); they are all the same only way to add a space into javascript within a string is by adding " ". Hope I helped.
hmm how do i make a var total=nr1+nr2?

I write document.write (name+age); for example when I run in a browser i don't have spacing between my variables...what's the deal ?

Sebastian781 2 months ago in playlist More videos from thenewboston
If you wanted to trace out each of the variables with spaces in between, then just add it like he taught earlier.
Ex:
document.write(tuna + " " + bacon + " " + ham);
D3R1CKZ 11 months ago
"I only made like 2 variables, tuna, bacon, and ham" lol :)
