Actually in my opinion the best way to get really good money is to gather herbs, leathers or mines.I play in cataclysm and i have herbalism with my hunter and i was gathering herbs for 2 or 3 weeks. With this way i made 20-25k gold. Questing is an other way to make money too.

@xerone10 its just a low level character that you only use to sell stuff on the auction house... you gather the materials with your high level, then mail them to your alt who sells them on the Action House, gathers the profit, and sends the money back to your high level

the bank alt "trick" is a good way to make easy money, even at lvl 30-40 you can a few hundred G a week just sending all the stuff you dont want/need and selling it on the AH. i found the best day to post items is friday, more ppl play in the weekends so the prices tend to go up. atleast that is how it is on my server.

Yeah, I pretty much do the same thing. The only thing I send to my alts is BoA and bags. If you put everything you make in the Auction House (Cloth, herbs, leather, ore, etc.) you can have around 400-500G by level 25.

Personally, I have a 431 miner, and I mine a lot of shit, but not saronite...it only sells for 40g a stack. Not only that but it takes too long to get 40 saronite ore, then smelt them into bars... takes WAY too long. I get cobalt/adamantite. Adamantite is good because of the spawn rate in places like Shadowmoon Valley. Cobalt, cuz it sells good :P

I dislike the ah, if you get lets say, runecloth you try to sell it and someone is always selling them 1 gold a stack or sumin, so you never get any profit becuase they buy othe rpeople not yours, i am currently waiting with near 10 stacks of runecloth for the prices of cloth to rise.

The price of runecloth only goes up when close to expansions ( for repgains ) so eighter you sell them now or you wait till cataclysm. I'd sell them now couse it's to long to wait ^^ unless your going to get more of those stacks :)

I suggest get in random dungeon finder then go do daily's or farm while waiting to get in... When you get in all blues purples or greens that you don't need disenchant then put all mats that you get from that auction. Then vendor all grays. Do that process all day you won't believe your eyes!
