  • I don't understand ROSE. IF she knew who she loved most and kissed him already, why go on the ruse. For sure it wasn't for her family really...otherwise her sister wouldn't end up w/ no one and simon would actually get a chance to fall for cass.

  • My how Henry Thomas has grown since E T !!!

  • O gosh sex-god *O * (Henry ofc)

  • stephen is soooooooooooo hot

  • Topaz's voice is PERFECT!

  • I never knew there was a movie till now. I read the book a few years ago and fell in love with the story. Cassandra and I have the same personality, I could really relate to her lol.

  • What happens to Cassandra? Does she end up staying with that guy who gave her, her first kiss?

  • @starryblue1994 She doesn't end up with anyone at the end; she chooses to be alone. That's one of the things I love about this book (and film); it's so bittersweet and more realistic for it. It's fun to imagine what might happen to all the characters after the story is over though!

  • wow I never knew there was a movie... I bought the book monthes ago but I still haven't really read through it. I guess i couldn't get through the first few pages. This trailer makes me want to read it :D

  • @Misty15big yeah, it is a very slow build. It took several months after I initially bought it to start reading it (I read a few pages then stopped) but after I got through the first two chapters, I found myself intrigued. I couldn't put it down. You've probably finished the book by now and if you haven't you really should read it. In any case I hope(d) you like(d) it.

  • book much better than film. Very twee though and infuriatingly toffy nosed.

  • Guy who plays Stephen is HOT. Must Google.

Other than that, this production looks shameful compared to the book, which is magnificent in every way.

  • @foreverkate That's Henry Cavill, he's been in the Tudors and some other things I think! Actually I really liked the movie, it wasn't perfect but most of the casting was really good and I loved Romola Garai as Cassandra. I agree though, the book is magnificent in every way!

  • The book is great, I'll have to find the movie somewhere because this trailer looks pretty good although it's not my type of movie at all.

  • I have the book on my bookshelf...now I can't wait to read it :)

  • Hope you enjoy it! It's my favourite book :)

  • i really want to read the book AND see the film x

  • i just finished the book xD

I wanna see the film, but I'm not too sure how much it resembles the book

  • The film is pretty good, well cast and some really nice scenes. It's not as good as the book, but few adaptations are!

  • I hope you do both! I recommend reading the book first. The film is pretty good, but the book is first person and you really feel like you know Cassandra when you're reading it, it's amazing.

  • omg it's mary bryant, charles from The Tudors... interesting... i think i'm going to watch it

  • ive stayed in the castle, its called Monabier, its in Wales, probably alot harder to book post the film i supppose lol.

  • I haven´t seen the movie or read the book, but I hope I´ll soon (the book is ordered...) and like it.

  • the book is amazing, hope the film lives up to it

  • stà tan wapu en Henry Cavill en akesta peli... *.*

  • It's from the first song of the film's soundtrack by Dario Marianelli.

  • OMG, I love this book, I had NO idea there was a movie of it! Looks good, I can't wait to watch it!

  • I watched it today, it was good, I liked it! ;)

  • I look almost exactly like Romola... depressing that she is always the plain girl in films though...

    she's an amazing actress =)

  • but she's hardly plain, she's gorgeous! :)

  • Lovewarpeace, you obviously haven't seen Romola in Daniel Deronda (such an amazing miniseries) or Angel. In those she is the far opposite of plain, playing vain social climbers. This is the first plain role I've seen her in (I haven't seen Atonement yet)

  • this movei is so cute!

  • I agree, this trailer is way better then the US one. I really need to see this film, it looks so good, and I also adore the book.

  • It's one of my favourite books and I love the movie. The casting is perfect. Hope you enjoy it when you see it! :)

  • I love this trailer! It's so much better than the US one!

    Thanks for uploading it

  • No problem! I'm glad you like it :)

  • This is SO much better than the US version! Thankyou for posting this, I hadn't seen the UK trailer before. It actually gives you a sense of what the film is really like: beautiful, funny and tender. The US version made it seem entirely different. My only complaint is that they don't give you a sense of the father's story & don't put in any of Bill Nigh's excellent performance

  • No problem, I'm glad you liked it! :] It's definitely a lot truer to the film than the US version, but yeah I wished they'd included Bill Nighy's character too.
