It would have been a lot better as a Mini-Series, like they did with The Kennedys. An 9-part mini-series on the life of Rasputin, with as many historical accuracies as possible, should be made. Nothing against Rickman, he acts his ass off in this film, it's just that the movie is too condensed.

And Gregori was also called Ivan Rasputin.
