  • Can you tell what team somebody is playing for

by the uniform he wears? Does auditing mean

auditing? What does credit mean? And how is that

different from a debit? You gotta know what's what.

  • I like their sense of humor. Protesting televangelism

to draw attention to their own belief system. Translation:

We're looking for a few good men...Are you clear? As

crysTal? Only True Believers are able to say, Jesus

Christ is Lord...The letter 't' is not a "silent letter" as it is

    in 'castle'.

"Get a spine", said the octopus to the jellyfish.

The school bus, a yellow submarine?

  • why is everyone acting like tom cruise is the leader of the church, because hes not. and there are other clebs that are scientologists stop picking on him

  • Because he is being held up within the church as an example to aspire to.

  • What is the track playing in this video?

(Btw always put track info in the description. If nothing else just for the credit).

  • one thing i don't understand is why they only protest Scientology....why not the most dangerous religion of them all, Christianity? or WestBoro baptist church?

  • thousands upon thousands of people protest christianity every day. Scientology was a religion completely thought up, for profit and it flies under the radar. Anon is utilizing the power of the internet to deal with our enemies, we're becoming a common occurrence on the news, we've brought down scientology websites, fox news websites, hacked sarah palin's e-mail and there is no way to hurt or destroy us, expect us.

  • I love how you say "we" and "us" haha...All 4chan is is a site were 12 year olds upload porn and feel like their "changing the world"...I'm sure YOU didn't "hack sarah palin's e-mail", I'm sure YOU didn't "bring down Scientology websites, fox news websites"...But you'll sure damn take all the credit for it, am I right haha?

  • no I didn't take them down, i contributed to it, you obviously have no idea about what actually happened, that's why I used the words US and WE to show that I myself didn't do it, faggot.

  • because scientology is spliting familys and tried to supress freedom of speach on the internet plus many other reasons

  • Productive? Hell yes! One person would be productive! The matter is not in quantity when it comes to arguments but in quality. Keep that in mind.

  • oh and there proteset will rougly do nothing at all but thier using thier rights. so thats altest one good thing.

  • this is 100 times worse than most christians

  • i hate tom cruise i hate scientology. sorry

  • We will stop scientology.

  • Woah, I didn't even know Anon went on with the protests. I waited for Feb 10th and didn't hear anything about it.

  • Over 9,000!

  • why wear a mask?

  • "why wear a mask? "-Because you llendup like xenutv1 if you dont.

  • Want a way to get out of poverty AMERICA? START TAXING THE CHURCHES!!!!! We live in one of the only countries that ALLOWS church to interfere with politics.. all the other countries have banned religion in gov and schools.. but not us! WE NEED TO START TAXING THE CHURCHES because they are far richer than the masses!! Scientology is a cult and we all know it is anyway. We need to do away with all cults in america and put the "christians" on notice too, they don't even know what it means.

  • kathleen2012

    I agree.

Tax the churches because they are now a tool for political use.

Hopefully all religions will become extinct in the near future before they destroy the world.

  • Right on.

  • Where do they get those awesome guy Fawkes masks? I'd definitely attend if I could have one of those.

  • I think even though this protest might not actually stop the organization of Scientology or even deconvert any existing Scientologists, it's important to get this view out there and covered (on youtube, TV, etc) because too often Scientology is seen as a sort of joke/cult, and while it does seem rather funny and ludicrous, it has very real (and dangerous) effects on society that we can't really afford to just sit back and laugh at.

That said, I'm a total slacktivist...

  • The protesting could atleast raise peoples awarness of scientology. If people think its an innocent organisation there is more chance of people gettin suckered in by it. I still know fairly little about it but iv seen a few vids of 'handlers' and how they hound people etc, iv seen enough to dislike them thats for sure. Without the vids of protests i wouldnt have seen their methods and the poor fools who are so blatently brainwashed to a scarey point. So i think it is productive myself.

  • How effective was it? as one nothing.. but as part of our WORLDWIDE campaign it was just that extra bit of sweet victory =).

In just months Legion has brought a thousand times more publicity to this than anyone else has in years be able to in years of work. Mark "Wise Beard Man" Bunker, himself would agree to this himself =P.

I saw one city do a series of massive Anonymous group hugs, Unproductive you would say yes,. but i saw something that united us & showed our strength caring & having fun

  • peaceful protest is extremely effective. the cult is scared and desperate now. the public is more informed of the dangers of the cult. keep up the good work anon. you are helping make the world a better place.

  • Protesting peacefully is the best way to get attention. Ever since 2/10, there's been a lot more coverage on CoS because of this.

    See you on 3/15!

  • Guilty gear music? o.O

  • To concentrate too much on these sorts of cults in the media is in a way giving credance , an intellectual free-pass if you will, to other sects ( christianity etc...) .

Yet the purpose and indeed the methods used by the major religious institutions are pretty much identical to those used by scientology.

There shouldn't be a legal difference between these cults; The delusions and dangers on one side are the same as the delusions on the other. just a thought...

  • Falloutmoon. I think coverage gives information. How many people will see these guys in action in vids online and see just how they work. See them before they themselves get indoctrinated into what they may initialy think is a good society/religion/whatever. All religions share some sort of brainwashing i aggree.

  • I do have an issue however ( I am an atheist); you can argue that on a global scale today, scientology is lightyears away from other major religions when it comes to sheer amount of damaged caused across the world. Now granted they're not as big, but shouldn't we concentrate on the dangers of christianity ( as in damaging poor population in Africa, etc) Islam ( I don't think I need to illustrate this one, Orthodox jews in Israel who are nothing short of murderous madmen as well...

  • how**

  • We will know who productive it was after the 15th

  • Why are these people questioning everything but the existence of the system itself? why are they fine, for the most part, with accepting religious lies- they're not innocuous, and all religions are rackets.

  • It's always worth it to protest against things like Scientology. Change only happens if people get active.

  • Nice.

  • Scientology set up a dianetics stand in my mall giving free stress tests. Needless to say i sat down and heard their bull crap, it was laughable. I got into a debate and the guy just told me to leave.

  • Those protesters seem about as kooky as the scientologists themselves.

  • These guys need to realize that if people are dumb enough to pay for stupid shit, just let them.

  • no its getting to them we have poeple defecting and warning poeple who are thinking about it so if one person is saved from that then its worth it

  • what shits, V who do you think you are, Scieltology (EXCUSE SPELLING I AM DIM YOU SEE) is such a bad excuse for a religion. i am Athiest/Antiathiest...

  • I think the protests help because it brings this to the news.

  • Anonymous really should go back to raiding habbo hotel and trolling, they don't work well in real life situations.

  • Is this the movement that started in 4chan?

  • They have killed hundreds of people?

  • Healthy, I participated (sans the masks and anonimity) in the 2-10 protests because I felt it was high time that someone got the ball really rolling against this organization. I agree with many of the same reasons the anon's do, however I feel most dispassionately about Scientology's open war on the social science of psychiatry(re: watch?v=hfu7Sr50N7U).

Thanks for keeping an open mind regarding the anon actions against scientology, I wish some others were capable of the same.

    /fellow atheist

  • Since when did a bunch of trolls from 4chan get all serious the protests are just for lulz and nothing else.

  • i think it has helped. - digg. com/odd_stuff/Scientology_taking_hits_online_-_Los_Angeles_Times

  • Stepmania, ftw.

  • Way to go my little reporter. Anderson Cooper ain't got nothing on Paramore.

    I love the music too.

  • I totally subscribe to this protest. Fuck scientology.

  • So do you have every religious symbol and lucky charm in existence hanging from your rear view mirror?

  • Nope.

  • in regards to your question of how productive it is, I think bringing the church into the spotlight like this will make it harder for them to operate like the oppressive organization they are.

in a way it proves the same purpose of the protest you participated in at the creation museum.

  • I'm pretty sure it's 2008 now..

But yeah good video, showing up for the march 15 one is tempting. :)

  • I should have gone there, especially since I live in the near east side & I could have just walked, I'm to much of an apathetic oldfag though.

  • i dont think there is any scientology centers where i live either. to much of the southenr bible belt for such blasphemy.

  • what song is this?

  • S.S.H (Or was it SHH? Whatever) remix of Holy Orders from Guilty Gear XX

  • Honestly I'm not sure... someone gave it to me for my Stepmania. But it is Holy Orders, I just looped it underneath when people were speaking to make it longer.

  • I think its more about creating awareness than actually solving anything. Like a gay rights parade.

  • Protests are not always the best way to get attention. Many protests have been ignored by the mass media. Media control is rampant. It is difficult to get a message out there. I think that all "churches" should not be tax exempt. By definition all religions are cults.

    Love and peace to all.

  • Agreed. =)

  • Agreed. =)

  • I like the idea of dismantling/reforming a system that has coerced people, but I will not participate in these protests as a peace vigil for those who have died under the hand of scientology would be more apt for the situation. Kudos for the vid :)

  • Honk if faith should be free...lol.

No, people should have to pay to be stupid!

  • faith =/= stupidity...

  • Yes it does.

    Faith = stupidity + irrationality.

  • One of their main goals is to eliminate Scientology's tax exempt status and they are getting a lot of publicity.

For this alone, this Anonymous thing is a good thing.

  • I agree, however I also think that this should be done with other religious institutions as well. Many religions turn a profit (I mean, look at the megachurch's for instance).

  • Christianity is about a million times worse than Scientology... in just about every way. That is my focus. Scientology are amateurs in comparison.

  • Yep.

  • Haha! It's good to see a voice against these people.

  • I dunno..would the same people pickett a Roman Catholic church?

  • Unsure. I may stop by the March 15th protest they're having. I'll make a new list of questions and ask.

  • Would you advocate this against the Roman Catholic church? Just wondering.

  • "Xenu!"

    That'll be $100,000.00 please.

  • Do you accept Monopoly money?

  • It's novel, but fruitless. The only way to get rid of ANY religion is by education.

  • Agreed.

  • Even that doesn't work for everyone.

  • the pope is a very well educated man...

and I'm sure he knows all the arguments that an atheist could possibly come up with...

for believers facts and knowledge doesn't count...

  • Now it is cool how there is a protest against a major cult, but how come nobody protests the 3 biggest abrahamic cults? Think about how much money the catholic church takes and is unaccounted for. What about christianity and islam that both try to force their agenda through politics even if you aren't religious and don't agree with them? What is a good secular argument against same sex marriage? Freethinkers should organize and protest the big cults... er ... religions I mean.

  • Ditto - but unrealistically won't happen. I agree with happyfinesad's statement below: It's novel, but fruitless. The only way to get rid of ANY religion is by education.

  • Why is a protest against christian organizations unrealistic? Is it because most people can easily see that scientology is made up, but somehow christianity with all of it's ridiculous claims and control of politics is true? I never said anything about ending the big monotheistic cults, just protesting. You can get a few people to protest scientology, but with all the freethinkers you can't even get one to protest christian organizations?

  • Yes but the problem is that people who practice those belief systems 'aren't crazy'. So people really can't get away with it. Not saying it can't happen. But I think overall in both cases it's much easier to build bridges with these people than tell them that they're crazy at face value. It just doesn't make progress.

  • islam=love=peace=allah

    /watch?v=j62PPv9j8mk&feature=related

    /watch?v=vGMG75VTn0M&feature=related

  • People who practice Scientology aren't necessarily "crazy" either, but the beliefs are still bad. Anonymous isn't protesting the people fooled by scientology they are protesting against scientology. Likewise, if you protest a cult like christianity or islam, you aren't protesting the brainwashed people, you are protesting the cult. So, I'm asking, why is it OK to protest scientology, but not the 3 abrahamic cults?

  • Hey great vid! as always..

  • one great thing about being an Atheist is that I will never join a cult.

  • Wow, this is history in the making. Movement makers, ground shakers. Thanks for giving me something huge to remember for the rest of my life.

How lucky of you to be a part of it.

  • Was this at their main headquarters in Clearwater, FL?

  • Nope - Columbus Ohio

  • When I re-watched the vid, I saw that. I'm sorry!! It was there in front of my face.
