In real life it was ironic with those 1970s style happy pop groups no DeFranco Family or Carpenters* cartoon was on. I assume Hanna-Barbera would put Karen Carpenter in a green scarf, headband underneath her pretty brunett hair, and a colorful miniskirt and go go boots, in order words,a brunette Daphne Blake,only they didn't look like that in real life..]
