I am a skateboarder. And, I have never even attempted BMX. But, I do watch the X Games regularly and ANY extreme sport that I can find on TV.
I know and understand the skill and athleticism that it takes for these riders.
Stephen Murray was by far one of the best, and watching this video brought tears to my eyes. It is so sad to see something like this happen to such a great rider.

I can't say that I saw the crash happen, but I heard about it a couple days later.
It is a sad day when a great rider is taken from the sport by a debilitating accident, and the support he has gotten from fans and riders alike is amazing.

I am a skateboarder. And, I have never even attempted BMX. But, I do watch the X Games regularly and ANY extreme sport that I can find on TV.
I know and understand the skill and athleticism that it takes for these riders.
Stephen Murray was by far one of the best, and watching this video brought tears to my eyes. It is so sad to see something like this happen to such a great rider.
I am just here to show my support and give him my blessings. Stay strong, Stephen, stay strong!

I can't say that I saw the crash happen, but I heard about it a couple days later.
It is a sad day when a great rider is taken from the sport by a debilitating accident, and the support he has gotten from fans and riders alike is amazing.
People who think he couldn't do it to begin with...need to obviously watch more of the sport.
Anyways, here's to a quick recovery.

Much respect to Murray, and I hope he can fulfill his wishes of riding again, but him not keeping the crash public is a lame move. If you look at any guys in FMX for example, you would never see them hide the worst crash of their career. It isn't only good exposure but it also shows people just how dangerous the sport is. And how much Murray has really went through.
