I think he's pointing to the incident when Prophet Muahammad was helping an old lady with her load. All the way he's been listening to her full of hatred speech about him.She didn't know he was Muhammad. He just smiled and listened. But at the end of the road when she knew it's him Muahmmad, she was amazed at how he tolerated all that talk about himself and she announced her faith in him as Allah's messanger.
