  • They have bathrooms!!!

  • 28 miles from Sedona, and about 10 miles from Cottonwood. Nice drive.

  • i love that town..i used to ride my motorcycle up there every weekend..wonder if it still has the old jail thats falling apart...that place is hauntenly addicting..was also on an episode of twiilightzone speculating alien abduction lol..cool town though..but bought out by a bunch of ragheads..

  • @Projectinsighter It still has the jail... Ragheads? I don't see no steenking RagHeads.

  • @AZMYLPH still there huh ?? cool.used to ride my motorcycle there all the time..And the people who wear the turbins on their heads were buying the town up..they probly don't wear them in public so they don't scare tourists away looking like a rerrorist..peace

  • WELCOME TO JEROME.....NOW GO HOME :)

  • Comment removed

  • yes indeed Jerome has not sold out to the corporate america junk food crap food fast food restaurants

  • I was there in the summer of 1970. Always wanted to go back. I'm not so sure now...back then it was hippies and bikers, a few artists & writers...a few tourists, and 3/4 of the town was abandoned with many structures sliding down the hill. Now, it seems to have become "exclusive" and...houses are expensive (!!!???). Pity, because you know what's gonna follow...Applebie's, Taco Bell, WalMart, etc. etc. etc. Shame. Darn shame.

  • @tinkmarz1 i aunt and uncle bought a house there in the 80's and sold it back in 08' for like 20x profit :P.. oh and they would have too change a lot and i mean a lot of laws too make that happen. the building codes restrict what can and cannot be build... i am not saying laws cannot be changed but rather it's a lot of work and people pride in the town

  • @roltthehunter It's good there's building codes to prevent such development. However, when I was there it didn't require lots of money to live there. I remember where the Spirit Room was, to the best of my memory it was a place that sold stuff found around town. I don't recall any other businesses in Jerome, although there may have been. What struck me was the history, seclusion, honesty and uniqueness of it. To make it a pricey, exclusive place saddens me .

  • It's awesome being a local of Jerome. And that's not Sedona it's Clarkdale and Jerome.

  • @fleebis44 Not that local you yuppie poser none of that is Clarkdale ... It's all Jerome Clarkdale starts at the big ass sign that reads something like this " WELCOME TOO CLARKDALE" stop me if i went above your head..... sooo ya that just happened ... my uncle was the Chief of pooolice and my dad was friends with the Mayooooooor and i know where Clarkdale is i am just a magic man right ?

  • @roltthehunter Hey asshole I've lived in Clarkdale all my life, I live up in Black Hills so don't talk to me like i'm a dumbass.

  • @fleebis44 ........ (sarcasm) You live in Black Hills oooooooo i respect you now buddy( sarcasm )..... No it does not change the fact that you are wrong... I live in Cottonwood it does not mean that i am a fucking local of Clarkdale does it? nope noooooo ... Have a nice day poser.. I will stop treating you like a dumb ass when you show me evidence too the contrary,

  • I want to move to Jerome...

  • I just got back from there Halloween 2010 ..I went to go visit the old cemetery on north Street. Please make a video of it you going I love thT place theres alot history there and I got 2 good photos there og some ghost 2 good orbs..Im tellin you I took 22 pic and they were the only ones to come out like it ...so please make a video of it.I have fallen in love with this town ...

  • Jerome is my favorite place on earth.

  • ive been lucky enough to go there, and i hope to return

  • i saw my car driving by!

  • I loved Jerome. Loved the art co-op for super cheat, original art. There's a little store in town (red building) that used to be a brothel and now has super cool souvenirs like Russian fur hats...any idea what it's called?

  • I love Jerome. I've been there over 800 times, driving, riding my mountain bike and even on a skateboard, back in the 90's. Gotta eat at the Haunted Hamburger, but get ready to pay $30 for a burger for two. The Burger is HUGE though, and they used to have a special that was free if you could eat the whole thing, can't remember what it was. They also have a Year-round Christmas Store. You can mountain-bike the back side of the mountain, and come out ...well, that part is a secret. Ask the locals.

  • It was so funny that you said the lady walking on the side of the road had a "cute purse"..hahahaha. I wouldn't have even noticed.

  • I loved your video! I had fun watching. WOuld love to share to you my videos too. I am looking forward to see more of your posts... take care=)

  • @SarahWillBeSkinny is the a siren that sounds at 12:00 every day?

  • fyi, that's not Sedona "down there", it's Clarkdale and Cottonwood. Sedona is much further north. Thanks!

  • I drove thru there at night with about 40 miles of gas left on the truck. it felt creepy, because it was dark and empty. I had a thought in my head that maybe this is a ghost town, and that i was lost. I made it to prescott, barely, but it was one wierd, scary ride. Heard this place is haunted. Is that right?

  • that house with the junk in front of it, well right next to the house(you can see the fence between it) thats where my aunt lives, I live in a apartment in Jerome. Love it there.

  • thank you for this. I visit my family in Arizona, and Sedona and Jerome are my favourite places. For those of you who haven't been, go and see! xx

  • Did you Dine at "The Haunted Hamburger?" THAT is a cool place, with a great view out over the vast open mountainous area; and "The Asylum," which was allegedly the mental ward of the old hospital which I think is the Big Fancy Jerome hotel there. Both have great food, and I LOVE the random buckets of cigarette butts all over the place (yes, MY Jerome video shows a lot of THAT - I chose not to be too scenic, ah well! Yours is much better for Scenic!)...

  • That was a cool ride thanks. WoW, Wow that was beautifull I would love to visit your home town someday. I hope you can visit my home town New York City.

  • Thanks for the wonderful video! While visiting Sedona this summer, I was told about Jerome and had to check it out. I went back two more times during the week. Jerome truly is a magical place... And I recommend The Asylum restaurant for lunch!

  • Hey, that was awesome. You should be my tour guide if i ever come to the states.

  • i have been here. i like arizona, its apart of team sexyy since 1956, according to scientish yamaha boyale.

  • Hey I saw my car, I work at the Mile High

  • Do you really?? I know a couple of people that work there!!

  • @SarahWillBeSkinny My Brother Shane works there! lol...

  • @SarahWillBeSkinny My grandfather is from Jerome. In fact my great grandparents migrated there back in 1918. My great gandfather was a minor in the old town above. Only been there once many moons ago which was by mistake on our way to the grand canyon. My father had no intention of stopping till my other grandfather told him he's a disgrace if he doesnt atleast see where his father grew up.

  • @SarahWillBeSkinny Sashea!!

  • Thanks for the tour. Looks like the kind of open road that would be great to just drive, relax with the scenery and let whatever thoughts flow through.

  • That's how ALL of the roads are here in Northern Arizona.... I LOOOVE driving, and letting the wind blow thru my hair, and just chillin! :)

  • Hey is that the hotel where we had drinks at that one time? We ate in Jerome too didn't we?

  • LOL Yup!! That was fun! They made STROOOOOONG drinks! :)

  • That looks like where I live in Colorado Springs.

    I love it out here!

    Surgery tomorrow.

  • Hey, hope surgery went well! :)

  • OMG! Remind me to never let you drive with me in the car down the side of the mountain. It looked like you were going really fast with a straight drop off on one side and mountain on the other side. You scared the S*IT out of me. Anyways... I have to mess with ya, and I LOVE artzie fartzie towns and LOVE Sadona. I only been there once but woulde move there in a heartbeat but it's so expensive and too far from Hubby's work. Maybe one day. I hope the Dr. visit goes well. Thanks for the video.

  • Oh, I loooooooooooo ve Sedona. That's my favorite place! :)
