Flo was just the cutest thing ever - to me, the group was never really the same after her departure - just look at her, she's adorable. I wish that, somehow, we could turn back the clocks and give Flo a better chance. She had a strong singing voice, but in fairness I guess Diana had the light, pop sounding voice and it sure worked well on the hit records they had. So, I try to think of all 3 of them fairly, but I sincerely wish that things had turned out better for Flo.

According to most peoples accounts (Including Mary Wilson) Berry Gordy was Horrible to Diana Ross, demanding, intolerant, dominating, he insisted on Perfection from her, Flo & Miss Mary got off easy compared to Diana Ross

@legedaryone I think Berry Gordy knew exactly what he was doing, I don't have anything Negative to say about the man, he was a Visionary, he saw the Potential, It took Drive, Ambition & a Strong work ethic to achieve the Goal, It's sad that people see these as Negative Qualities (when it comes to Diana Ross at least), She was/is Unique, to attempt to Diminish that is wrong

watch the shangri-la's performing "Shout" and you can see the same kind of thing. marguerite and mary jump up at once and have a hard landing on the stage, which breaks mary's focus briefly from lip-syncing, and they all smile. think they just built rickety sets back then.
