  • Terrible

  • @beaniex1kelly Shows just what you know about anything fella Feck all id say

  • fantastic

  • who would dislike this!!!!!

  • great version

  • this song gives me goosebumps, if only i was a dubliner!

  • does anybody know the chords to this?

  • Good, but not a patch on the Luke Kelly acapella version with the three part harmony on the chorus!

  • to be honest, its a pretty average version. it would have been better to get the likes of declan o'rourke to sing it. he's one of the few irish singers around at the minute with the carry in his voice to attempt something like this. glen hansard and damien dempsey are fine artists in their own right but i just don't think they suited this song. dempsey on his own maybe but not together. as for the fella down below calling it a rather jaded old tune? knob.

  • Awesome

  • Excellant makes one proud to be a Dub

  • They have injected a rather jaded old tune with musical botox and produced a f*ckin classic! Lovely chord sequence. What is it? Capo 5th fret. Sounds open chord but it's not. Anyone know the tab? I need to know. My nephew in outer botswana who is waiting for a liver transplant will die if I don't get the tab to him.

  • Damo makes me proud to be Irish.

  • Damien Dempsey is a beautiful man.

  • Two of the most talented musicians in Ireland. No bullshit or egos with them either, which is nice :)

Great version of this song too!

  • @ClancyPhotography No Ego's?????

Glen Hansard is the biggest diva I've ever worked with!!!!

  • A brilliant version, sung with real passion, + a charity gains. Well done to both.

  • Has to be one of the best, very well done by all the lads here

  • @mickdoylemd this is a good version ill agree, but i think you are nuts to even compare it to luke kellys version that is the definitive version no doubt, and no one will ever better it ever and thats a fact.
