  • MASS PRODUCTION - FIRECRACKER <<<<<<<<<<<< That is the song sampled for "Me So Horny", not Tour de France. Leave it up to stupid people to spread false information!

  • One of my favorite songs of all time! Few things match its majesty and beauty!

  • Complete and utter class!!

  • rap music in the states was built on their sound..gh

  • Hell of the North Paris-Roubaix The Cote d'Azur and Saint Tropez The Alps and the Pyrenees Last stage Champs-Elysees Galibier and Tourmalet To the top of the saddle Pedaling in high gear Sprint on arrival Flat on the pavement The bike quickly repaired The peloton is together Comrades and friendship

  • Love the Chinese/Japanese tinge in this tune! Hmmmmmm ♥♥

  • Love the classics

  • This is the vanguard the historic song that established Electronica.!!

  • I had the 12" version. Fantastic.

  • Electric Boogaloo!

  • @Dakers11 Best dance ever with a broom!

  • @Dakers11 with the broom!

  • i catched my head going with the rhythm... and im not doing it to pop, rock or hip hop.. i kinda like this

  • AGINEN COURT.PELATON.

  • Woooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pure class

  • i know this electronic band and i love his musics

  • leave out the voice and any melodic instruments, speed it up 25% and you've got the basic beat for every dub-step song ever made.

  • I love Derrick May's explanation of what techno was...'imagine Kraftwerk and George Clinton stuck in an elevator, and all they had was keyboards.' Everyone slags off the 80s musically but you had so many cross-fertilisations of different styles...punk-funk, Bambaata, Buffalo girls go round the outside, round the outside....New Romantics, new wave....Blue Monday....house, techno, hip hop, hip house etc etc

  • @konspiracykid If anybody was stuck in an elevator with George Clinton they would keel over and die from the stench he reeks! The man flat out stinks! He doesnt shower he's dirty!

  • i heard this song in the radio yesterday

  • Electric Boogaloo

  • KRAFTWERK, one of the most influential, seminal, sampled, riped-off bands of all time.

  • @Pedossaurus That's very true - but then again, Kraftwerk also ripped off the "Tour de France" synth melody from Hindemith's sonata for flute :D (it's true, you can easily find recordings of the flute sonata on Youtube... the theme is just there in the beginning of the 1st part - search for example with "Hindemith Flute Sonata Movement I")

  • @Rubycon75 That's true and I believe that could not be just a coincidence since both Ralph and Florian, as well Karl Bartos, had classical formation on music. Nevertheless they still are (or were) one of the most creative bands ever.

  • @Pedossaurus Yep, totally agree! Didn't mean to sound critical in any way. It's just fun that they also show their roots - even if and when their "end product" is far from the original tune, stylistically speaking.

  • the original..."techno heads"....class!

  • This version of "Tour de France" sends chills up and down my spine. I love the offbeat electronic bass!

  • thats 4 people that love dick

  • muy chulo el video, estuvimos en ese concierto en Madrid-la verdad es que merecían tocar en otro sitio con mejor acústica que la Riviera. Un saludo

  • much better taht any dj today

  • in pissed myself with laughter when i read this...........very funnny comment, top comedian.

  • what a great tune

  • HELL of lot dance acts owe a lot of massive thanks to these guys.

  • @bernardkersse66 Dude, dance acts these days don't even know who Kraftwerk are! :) And I'm glad. Keep these talentless kids away from Kraftwerk or we'll have remix after remix of utter shite.

  • Shit I haven't heard this song for years and years. Probably when it came out around the time The Model came out. Classic, timeless music.

  • Great time Bernand Hinault, Laurent Fignon,Greg Lemond, Luis Herrera and Pedro Perico Delgado.

  • surprisingly alot people used to breakdance to this cut back in the early 80's

  • @noiseruption its what i used to do!

  • @noiseruption Yes, Kraftwerk invented hip-hop, how weird is that! :P

  • If this song had never been created the world would be a much poorer place.

  • ha ha... mr thegooddoctor i hear ya!

  • Once a year, about this time. Gotta hear this song.

  • Come Here Girl,Come Here Girl, Come Here Girl, BOUNCE

  • pegate un kemon abisag

  • Oh! Wao!! Hindemith's Sonata for Flute & Piano? rights??

  • Comment removed

  • not a patch on gary newman?these guy were making electro when newman was still pissing his pants...educate yerself fool

  • not a patch on GARY NUMAN very good though.

  • Kraftwerk is one of my favorite bands. /// Christoffer from Sweden

  • this is the genre of music redefined and never ever beaten. all the modern bullshit is like a Mcdonalds version of this..the real deal...musicians who deployed electronics as a legitimate art form and a means of producing incredible music, and not as a means of shovelling out mass produced shit like modern 'musicians' do.

  • Totally underated and overlooked, only real music fans know the true contribution these guys have made. In my opinion they sit up there with all the pioneers of original music.

  • this makes me so horny!!!

  • @xxTessbabexx me 2

  • where's that fookin lino.headspin anyone.this was wicked to pop to.

  • Funny how the hip community embraced and sampled from some 'old' white dudes from Germany. Kraftwerk!!!

  • Just LEGEN...Wait for it...Wait for it...DARY!!! Brings back my youthful memories!!

  • Floating on the memories....thanks Kraftwerk.

  • Great song but so....camp.

  • @Statarb1 so so right :P

  • This song turns me on soooooo much. Jesus. Whew.

  • I love how this song plays on the Techno and Hip-Hop genere.

  • @ldsjr1968 - Hip hop came many years AFTER Kraftwerk and you have Kraftwerk to thank for alot of the samples of the early hip hop recordings. I know to you kids, it all seems like it simply "happened sometime before" but no, that is not the case.

If you want to hear a masterpiece, go and listen to "Trans Europe Express" by kraftwerk and then go check out "Planet Rock" by Afrika Bambataa who later sampled it.

  • @ldsjr1968 you mean hip hop & techno borrowed from Kraftwerk. The are the Kings of electronic music... hip hop & techno had not even started to walk by the time Kraftwerk was a fully formed beast!

  • ohh ahhh ohh ahhh ohh ahhh :-D a great synth music tune ! same high class as JMJ tunes.

  • I live in 80's!

  • Brings back memories of my youth! Love it.

  • I can't fight it anymore! ::starts pop lockin::

  • @Ladygagsalot you don't pop lock to kraftwerk... that's like hardstyle shuffling to jazz...

  • This was the first record I ever bought! The B side (instrumental) was on replay for weeks... drove my Ma nuts.

  • What a war-torn world we live in.

Back in '83, if you had a problem with a guy, you rolled up on him with ghetto blaster and a piece of cardboard and did fucking head spins 'till he left you alone.

  • @damienmetalwind I've heard about that!! i wasn't living in the 80's, but i would love to see people dance battling instead of fights =S

  • @damienmetalwind Lino sales during the 80's must've been colossal.

  • Best version by far! My buddy has it on vinyl: the sound is much richer than this recording.

  • ic mil de fyu

  • Why doesn't Kraftwerk open up with this song, then right as the electric Harp comes in. A spotlight hits a lone figure with a broom. The timing would have to be perfect. It's Mike Boogaloo shrimp performing with them. It would be Kraftastic!

  • @Dakers11 : Eh? What are you on?
