@Fallschirmjaeger963 ILS is the Instrument Landing System (ILS). It is when you mostly have an IFR flight and ILS is the approach the landing. You need to enter a frequency in the NAV1 box and set the specific course setting and the planes approach hold switch and autopilot will automatically control the altitude and control the direction until 50 feet off the ground you disengauge the A/P and landing it manually

Aligning the planes easy! Just program the GPS or the FMC and select the approach of what runway your gonna land at. Or just do a ILS landing or just have good luck manually aligning it.

@5Oblivion you never use parking brakes when your stoping! you should use normal duh you gotta arm your spoilers on final approach by pressing shift+/ when you touchdown press and hold f2 to use the reverse thrusts, and use the normal brakes and youll be fine

@adamgamedude actually spoilers shouldn't be used untill the touchdown as they are used to soil the flow of air in the wing and could bring you to a stall if armed in the air

@5Oblivion if you eve try to use parking brakes in a landing at 140knts you would burn them, you could try using the auto brakes, they are a good aid but only used in really short runways or extreme conditions

just because of seeing that ur plane hasnt the right angle to land, I know u were goin to fast. When approachin in a 747, start with 200-180 at the beginning of the glideslope. slow to 160 on almost touchdown. flare when you are around 150. dont go lower than 145>>> u WILL STALLLLLL!!!!!! Ive learned my lesson .
