This is not an APGAR test. It is a Ballard Gestational Age Assessment. The APGAR occur at 1 minute after the birth and again at 5 minutes, sometimes at 10 minutes if the 5 minute score is low.

Apgar test was designed by Dr Virginia Apgar, and scores the newborn's wellness taking into account 5 items: muscle tone, reactivity, breathing, heart rate and skin colouration. Each item can be scored from 0 to 2.
