  • Why the hell do they keep showing video of wrestling matches with everybody but Owen Hart during the interview?

  • That other guy (the guy who isn't Vince Russo) doesn't know what he's talking about. Vince didn't continue with the show to 'keep making a buck'. The fans had already paid to be there that night. Vince already made all the bucks he was going to make off the show. The fans at the arena didn't know Owen had died, the only people who knew at the time were the TV audience. Vince made the call to continue the show so that the fans weren't screwed out of a PPV show.

  • the end sounded like something out of dbz

  • at what point did an 80 foot jump sound like a good idea

  • LOL HE HAS A UNIBROW

  • R.I.P Owen the whole WWE universe will miss you

  • Iron Sheik: "FACK THE VINCE RUSSO"

  • People need to stop blaming each other. How about working out instead of pointing fingers? It's shit like these why the world is a dangerous place.

  • OK, I agree Owen's death was tragic and WWE still have a lot to answer for, but I want to know who is this Douche Bag being interviewed as he clearly knows nothing! I know one is Vince Russo, but the other guy is like "Yeah, interview me, I'll pretend I know stuff and be critical of Vince", he just annoys me. Vince Russo seems to be the only one who knows something worth talking about.

  • @tripps36 if owen wanted to leave wwe for wcw then why didnt he just go,vince could not have stopped him going to wcw if owen wanted to go

  • @liverpool18925 actually he could have and did stop Owen from going he wouldn't let Owen out of his contract

  • Vince McMahon nor anyone in the WWE is to blame for that horrible accident. It was part of Owens gimmick that he wanted to do and unfortunately it led to Owens accident. If Vince thought that such a thing was going to happen then I am sure he would have said no to that entrance. I was there at Kemper that night with my brother and he fell flailing his arms about and you could tell it was an accident. If one or more wrestlers died in a car wreck to an event is that Vince's fault? Hell no it isnt.

  • WWE and McMahon do kill of wrestlers to make a buck..wake up dumb ass

  • The Fag (McMahon) the killed owen

  • @ebz1221 idiot.

  • Also I hate how the dumbass narrator is making it out that Vince McMahon and the WWE is some evil giant that kills off its wrestlers just to make a buck. Fucking disgusting.

  • Fuck Vince Russo.

  • @jmi84 Owen didn't wanna do the stunt, if he said no then it should have ended right there, but I think he was pressured into doing the stunt and he was forced back into doing the blue blazer gimmick cause he refused to do a storyline where he would have a affair with debra and start a rivalry with jeff jarrett, so the blue blazer stunt was kinda like a punishment for not wanting to do the debra affair storyline, Vince McMahon is 100% responsible for owen's death and he has yet to pay for it.

  • Vince Russo is a fucking murderer.

He killed Owen, then killed WCW.

  • sting was in wcw dumbass this is the wwe..lol the guy in the video don't know what he's talking about.

  • Comment removed

  • What 24 seconds in and you have a photo of the Pegasus Kid aka Chris Benoit... Not the blue blazer... Way to do your research.

  • holy, this isn't church, who's good and who's evil, that's life.

  • Vince should have let Owen go. He didnt want to be wrestling, he wanted to be with his family! The only reason he went back to wrestling was because he had to support his family. Owen had morals. He said no because he was married and had his kids watching. Vince automatically says well you gotta do the blue blazer gimmick then. Whats MORE disturbing was that Owen was petrified of heights and anyone who knew him knew of his phobia. His wife even said that he told her he wasnt comfortable with it.

  • Comment removed

  • Excellent, make the man look like a fool out of spite... And then kill him.

  • When was this documentary released?

  • This is a total load..Owen death was a tragic accident and thats it! Fuck all this nonsence!

  • WOW MY FAVORITE WRESTLER DIES ON MY BIRTHDAY NOW THATS A REAL FML!!! I WENT TO GO SEE IT TOO I WAS 6

  • if he didnt attempt this stupid risk owen could still be in wwe today :( rip owen hart

  • my opinion has changed after this video its not soley Russo's vault its his and who ever didnt listen to the stunt man and wanted it done quick cause of time restraints is also to blame. I also believe that Mcmahon is not that heartless and if he thought it was that serious he wouldnt have let Owen do it.

  • sooo horrible :(

  • You're all stupid. Owen's Death was a tragic accident and nothing more.

  • russo your full of shit everyone knows u had sometype of hatred on owen and thats why this happend with it in the first place heres something that might even generate ratings for tna u put on th gimmick and do exactly what has happend to owen fall from the ceiling

  • I was going to join a business filled with scumbags but then I took an arrow to the knee

  • I don't know what happened or how it happened. From all of the facts I've heard, the blame falls on three people: Vince Russo, Vince McMahon, and Owen Hart. Vince Russo for pitching the idea, Vince McMahon for not going about this the safe way and using the safest technique, and Owen Hart because he chose to go up there and try it. No one forced him to go up there. He could have easily said no. This happened because all three made poor choices and it sucks, because Owen was a class act.

  • DAMN I WAS BORN ON MAY 28th

  • He was a sacrifice...

  • what the hell was all that irrelevant footage?

  • @lanemorse666

As far as I know, there were one or two "b-roll" cameras focused on the ring that captured the fall and the subsequent treatment of Owen by the paramedics, but McMahon and WWE have said they will never realize that footage due to sensitivity concerns. They had to fill the video with dramatizations of audience reactions.

  • Wow. That was something!

  • regardless of what happend he deserves to be in the hall of fame because he deserves it more then anyone i dont think it was planned i think it was something that happend at the wrong time but u know what owen hart should of quit the wwe he would been alive today but still he should rightfully be in the hall of fame.

  • Fuck you Russo, you are the destroyer of wrestling companies

  • How does vince russo keeps getting wrestling jobs.

  • Vince Russo is a selfresh prick

  • @Dukenukemgenesis vince mcmahon

  • @Dukenukemgenesis Well said my man

  • They couldn't show wwe/wwf footages. Looks like it may have been made in a garage.

  • Everything about this video besides the interviews is garbage. What's with all the random video? What do Sgt. Slaughter and Tony Atlas wrestling for the AWF have to do with Owen Hart?

  • How sad. While watching this I can't help but think "OH so it's YOUR fault" -.- assholes. They seem so fine with it.

  • LOL,somebody screwed up the photo at :22 is not Owen as Blue Blazer,it's Chris Benoit as Pegasus Kid.

  • I'm glad Russo has such a clear conscious

  • rest in peace Owen

  • I got no love for Russo or McMahon But lets face it it's all he said she said. We will never know. In terms of them still putting the show on I, for once, agree with Russo lets face it they wouldn't of been thinking straight, it was still wrong they kept going. One thing this guy is obviously just a wrestling hater gets someone who understands the business to talk about it.

  • who is the guy talking. not russo. the guy in the blue button shirt.

  • Russo is an Idiot.

  • I believe WWE had a major part of Owens death. Vince is a monster. He will do anything to make a quick buck. Owen knew that if he didnt do it he would have lost his job. Which is sad. Owen is a legend and deserved so much better. we will miss you owen

  • @xxdrummer92xx

oh he would have lost his job and got his wish to go to wcw with his family...

    so sad.

owen knew what he was doing. it was talked about and explained to him.

he had asked for a release for months leading up to this. losing his job is what he wanted!

  • @theraVen27 Yeah but did he deserve to loose his life? No. Owen had so much more potential.

  • @xxdrummer92xx

    i didn't say that.

russo and McMahon don't deserve to be blamed for killing a man.

it's funny how a death and some peer comments suddenly make the guy who forced pr wrestling into the 5 moves of doom after breaking austins neck a legend w so much potential.

how long was owen there? if he had so much potential why was he the fucking blue blazer.

santino or hornswaggle (jokes) wont be whc and owen (joke) would have never been whc

  • Russo takes no responsibility and instead it is a hate fest on McMahon and the WWE. I mean they go McMahon evil comissioner rolls on my God. Talk about how you helped kill WCW Russo and TNA sucks with you. Everything you touch is garbage.

  • Vince Russo could at least say "I regret the whole idea. I'm sorry." Instead, he just oozes scum.

  • Comment removed

  • This has to be without a shadow of a doubt, the most unbelievable video in the world pertaining to owen harts death. The footage has absolutely nothing at all to do with owen hart. And they're basically repeating what happened over and over to the point where it almost seemed like some sort of demented infomercial. Who actually allowed this to be made?

  • Who throw Owen down?

  • The truth of the matter is if mcmahon would have let owen leave to the wcw with bret how he wanted he would not have died that horrific way. And I dont care what the law said regarding that case but I truly believe mcmahon is responsible for owens death. Do I think he meant and wanted owen to fall and die? No. Do I think vince knew it was dangerous and that owen didnt feel comfortable doing it and that he didnt care because of how bret left the company? Yes! Fuck vince mcmahon.

  • @jmi84 fuk you dude, this is someones life quit pointing fingers when you hav no idea what goes on behind the scenes

  • @jmi84 Owen did the same stunt earlier that day and nothing went wrong, so yes Vince did check to see if it was "dangerous" and it was Vince RUSSO's idea not McMahon's....stupid kid

  • @jmi84 it's vince russo who is the culprit...

  • @sponkster and jmi84, both of them were responsible. They both planned this incident. Russo and McMahon don't care about there superstars. Its all about the money. McMahon was so greedy that he continued the show even after someone died and Russo was the one who planned the Blue Blazer gimmick and both of them allowed them to do this horrible incident. Makes me sick fuck Vince and Russo.

  • @TheEniGMaTicOuTKasT dude u run a company and have something like that happen and u tell me what the fuck u would do until that happens stfu

  • @jmi84 fuck you

  • @jmi84 ur ignorance is astounding are you ppl still bitching bout this its so easy to blame other people for what someone decided to do and it just failed

  • Dumbest shit ive ever heard!!

  • @jmi84 Hindsight is a wonderful thing

  • @jmi84 Wrong, Owen could died in WCW in the same way........WCW use similar cables and stuff whit sting, also Owen agree to do tha segment, even after the first try went wrong in a previous Raw, so it was his time to leave.

  • @jmi84 Owen also knew that it was dangerous but he didn't refuse to do it. I dont' think that Vince Mcmahon forced him to do the stunt and threatened to fire him if not. You also say it by yourself that Owen wanted to leave the company because of Bret. So he had nothing to concern about if he refused the stunt... It was an accident. Vince is not responsible for that tragedy. You better blame him for that PG crap we see today ;)

  • @CravenoConnor Seriously? You fucking attitude era marks just can't stop bitching about the PG thing even on videos where it's not necessary can you? It's 2012. not 1999. GET OVER IT.

  • @CravenoConnor but still Owen would be living if they didn't remove the safty harnesses from the whole thing. They cared more about if it looked real then his actual saftey. So its both Owens and WWF's fault. But mostly WWF's

  • @jmi84 dude vince didnt get him to do it it was russos idea

  • @jmi84 not McMahon's fault man, it was Russo

  • @jmi84 I agree with you there to be honest if you look at when hardy got sacked for drugs the last time matt hardy left and came out with the fact that he was given the crap of the crap and treated as an outcast. To be Honest Vince McMahon should have went to prison for this. After umteen stuntmen saying no wont work why did he keep looking?>

  • The narrator sounds like a jack off.

  • Lol!!This looks like THE SIMPSONS NEWS show "EYE ON SPRINGFIELD" cause they made the WWF/E sound horrible and Vince is made out to be The Devil!Lol!!

  • So who is responsible: The evil writer Vince Russo?! Shawn Michaels and Triple H for undermining Owen Hart`s career?! Mick Foley for being the grandfather of stupid stunts?!

Everybody involved in WWE says that there is no gimmick, show-element, etc. which hasn`t to be verified by Vince McMahon in the end - So he was responsible for this "accident"...

  • @SuperJuliusC it was an accident, the only reason McMahon is responsible, it's cuz he's the owner,Russo? No, sure it was his idea, but it wasnt his idea for Owen to fall and die, HBK n HHH?Don't know what that has to do with anything. Mick Foley?he isnt the only one who does stupid stunts, try again

  • God bless Vince Russo

  • He is not that great of a wrestler he is only good because he is dead damn you people are annoying.

  • @HighEveryday713 Obviously, you haven't watched enough wrestling. He is a former European champion, 2x Intercontinental champion, a 4x World Tag Team champion and a King of the Ring winner. One of the best technical wrestlers of all time, as are most of the wrestlers who trained in the "Hart Dungeon." For example, Bret Hart, Chris Benoit, Jushin "Thunder" Liger, Chris Jericho, Lance Stomr, etc. So make sure you knox info about something before you comment.

  • If he was afraid of heights why the hell did they think it would be a good idea to get him to do this in the first place?

  • no. Owen put off the "grand-entry" release because he was afraid... and didn't trust Neither the stunt, nor the equipment. :).

(Have a nice day!. -Mick Foley).

  • Don't know but other people but I can barely hear this.

  • mjb01 i heard u do own this footage

  • Owen should have never done this

  • I met Owen back in 1997, I asked him for an autograph and Bret came up and signed. I got to hang out with them, Sunny, Shawn Michaels (shockingly), British Bulldog, Marlena, Goldust, Vader. Owen was very funny, Bret was cool, Sunny was funny, Shawn was okay, Bulldog was very nice, Marlena was cool, Goldust was okay but he was pissed at the Sultan (Rikishi), and Vader was cool. I got to hug Sunny and Marlena, and the Sultan signed an autograph too, though he didn't talk they were all very nice

  • @matthewosmond1984 i met owen to he was awesome and funny and it was right after dx made fun of him i asked him what he thought of it and he said it was funny great times rip owen he should have got a bigger push RIP owen

  • @marionut247 I agree with that. Owen deserved to be the WWE champion, wish i had a chance to meet him again

  • @marionut247 He was a very nice person. I walked into the dressing room, and they all gave me a warm welcome. As soon as I walked in the door, Sunny was all smiles and gave me a hug, Marlena did too, and they were all cool, except the Sultan, The Iron Shiek, and Bob Backlund. Sultan looked pissed and I asked Owen "Is he gonna put me in the Camel Clutch"? and Owen cracked up laughing, Undertaker laughed too, Shawn, Bret, and Suny were gone laughing too. Good People indeed.

  • wow, that "live footage" looked authentic

  • the pic at the beginning is Benoit as the Wild Pegasus, not Owen as Blue Blazer

  • Comment removed

  • @Hperman09 hey stupid, Owen did the stunt earlier that day

  • Vince is a mason, and most likely Vince sacrificed Owen Hart to Luciferian Astral demons because Bret Hart (Owens bro) humiliated him on live TV (then knocked him out with a punch afterwards. Benoit was trained by the Hart family and was close friends, even taking part in a Bret vs Chris Benoit tribute to Owen Hart match after Owens death. This supposed murder suicide has all the ear markings of some type of mind control or illuminati ritual murder.

    Type it on Google.

  • @x8player8x Owen deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. Vince Mcmahon and Vince Russo are two God Damn Motherfuckers for murdering one of the best wrestlers in the world. Mcmahon, Russo SCREW YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Vince Russo was an idiot for this stupid idea that wouldn't get Owen Hart over. However, it is also Vince McMahon fault too. McMahon only would spend 1000 dollars on the stunt and seemed like he didn't care about his death.

  • wait when vince russo said owen asked to come out first, wouldnt he come out first anyway because he wasnt champion?

  • @NotoriousGamer1 no stupid,

  • This may be the worst thing I've ever seen. I'm pretty sure my college video production class could have put together something better.

  • Look, I miss Owen and everything but these narrations are as biased as they come.

"Vince McMahon, the evil commissioner, LIVES ON!

  • Maybe someone should bring Russo to Kansas City and hang him in the rafters. See how he likes it. Hell, we might even see Russo's own "comedic genius".

  • @KISSFAN4EVER6 sure why not, if Russo aint afraid of heights then he'll do it.unless u want him to panic and release himself on purpose to fall like owen did...idiot

  • @KISSFAN4EVER6 Hate Russo or love him, He loved Owen. It had a lot to do with him leave the WWF in 99.

  • blind Russo hatred? so let me guess, you are in LOVE with what he's doing to the talents in TNA now right?

  • @VanVaderFan no russo sucks HARD he fucked up WCW and he fucks up every company he works with

  • wtf did they show Benoit for ..... I don't get it...then showing clips of UWF or whatever the clip with skandor akbar was

  • What? Use equipment that was used only sailboats? ARE YOU ***** CRAZY!?

  • Is that Dave Meltzer? The guy opposite Russo?

  • @kingsteve1096 That's not Meltzer. I'm friends with Dave, and that's not him. However, I don't know who the person is you are referring to

  • "Would the WWE put it's wrestlers at risk for entertainment?" What a stupid question.

  • corporations have too much fuckin power he should be charged with manslaughter , but hey corporate power runs this world

  • 80 feet is dangerous Owen Hart should have never been allowed to do that stunt -Al Vince Mcmahon cares about is money

  • @curtisjones400 owen had done the stunt before, sooo

  • Comment removed

  • Why didn't they just let Owen go to the ring first, that way he could of worn a safety harness designed for a 210 lb. man and took his time.

  • @cstring420 the reason why is because the normal harness took too long to get out of. What the plan was, Owen would propel down, quickly hit the clip and disengage himself, run around the ring like a superhero and fall on his face...mocking WCW. Owen weighed 225 lbs. It is insane that they would put him in something that only takes 6 pounds of pressure to disengage. i am a huge WWE fan, but Vince should have gone to jail for manslaughter.

  • @Bowzer1366 Owen did the stunt earlier that day and nothing went wrong...he must've panicked...and relaese himself...it was an accident...not Vince's fault

  • vince is a good CEO... i think that must have been an accident

  • Hmm Brian Pillman dead, Owen Hart dead later. SUICIDE maybe? hmmmm dunno just an option

  • Thank you very much for uploading this.

  • So tragic. Vince russo is a terrible liar btw I can see right through him. RIP Owen Hart.

  • when russo dies i want to take a huge dump on his grave

hope he BURNS IN HELL forever for ruining careers and in this sad case, killed a underrrated, amazing, talented man who was loved by EVERYONE

RIP OWEN WE STILL MISS YOU

RUSSO, GO FUCK YOURSELF AND BURN

  • Comment removed

  • FUCK VINCE RUSSO! FUCK RUSSO AND HIS FUCKING STUPID UNIBROW!

  • @EightThreeSix

Fuck Vince McMahon too? Right? After all, it was McMahon's brilliant idea to punish Owen Hart by applying the Blue Blazer gimmick back on Owen Hart. Reason why? Because Owen didn't want to be in a smutty sex angle on WWF TV, and obviously Vince McMahon wasn't happy about his decline. So, wouldn't you want to say "fuck McMahon" more so than Russo?

  • @EightThreeSix Fuck Vince.. He's the master mind behind this.. I'm a true fan, and as a kid saw this live.. Of course they didn't show the fall but still.. Fuck Vince, he makes his money off you.. That's why i stopped watching..

  • @EightThreeSix So if it is a "good thing" in the end Vince McMahon is responsible for it because he is the boss - But if it`s a "bad thing" in the end Vince Russo was responsible?!

WWE makes itself a joke by making Vince Russo and Ole Anderson the "devils of pro-wrestling"...

  • The end of this makes me think its a storyline

  • @ToyHunter97 Your comment confuses me. Exactly what do you think is a storyline? Owen's death? If that's the case you should look up the footage from the night he fell. You can't see him fall, because they didn't want to draw attention or sensationalize something like that. You can hear JR say over and over that this is real. The rest of the Hart family confirmed it. This was as real as it gets. Own died that night over a stupid stunt that shouldn't have been done.

  • @walkingmiracle Yeah I know that it was really and owen hart really did die i was just saying that the last line the guy said made it should like it was a storyline or angle just the way he said it

  • @walkingmiracle I meant to spell real instead of really

  • russo did not kill anybody it was a mistake

  • Wow, first he killed Owen and then WCW?? Russo makes me sick.

  • @wwesvrfreak2011 WITH A BIG WIDE SPREAD OPEN ASS HOLE! SHOVE SOME BLACK DICKS IN THERE lol...

  • the volume is too low on this shit.

  • Russo is a FUCKWIT straight & Simple!

  • I 2 believe this was Russo's fault NOT Mcmahon's

  • this would be a great documentary except for non-wwe wrestling clips. The wrestling clips they show have nothing to do with the subject.

  • @realityorfiction lol I was just saying the same thing. Are we the only ones to notice?

  • @PrinceMontrey everyone is is busy arguing lol

  • @realityorfiction

No kidding, the clips are stupid.

  • Neither Vince McMahon or Vince Russo killed Owen Hart. It was AN ACCIDENT, people!! Accidents kill people everyday...whether they be in a car or even in a machine shop...WE take risks with our lives everyday...and Owen worked in a business which was VERY risky for injuries and possible death. Didn't Owen Hart injure Steven Austin and almost paralyze him?? Comes with their job. Not that being dropped from rafters is part of their job...but obviously it was asked of him and he chose to do it.

  • @TEBKOE AND unfortunately the stunt didn't work. I feel awful for the Hart family and mostly his children. But if I was asked by my boss to do something I didn't like or was afraid to get killed I'd QUIT! WCW was still active at this time. So, Owen Hart was just as responsible as Vince McMahon for his own death.PERIOD! And to think a show should stop because of it is NOT the way of America or Entertainment. How many football players get paralyzed and carried off a field and the game goes on?

  • @TEBKOE I am NOT saying that mentality if right but people that is how the world works. Companys don't shut down on Monday because one of their employees died over the weekend. Wars don't end as soon as the first country loses a soldier. and SPORTS & Entertainment don't give people back their money and end shows because of injuries and death. Maybe NOT the right way to live but IT IS how it is!! And most of YOU would demand your money back if a show was canceled for any reason.

  • ok say what you want about the show not being stopped, it should have i agree, but this evil commisioner stuff is a bit over the top

  • 6 POUNDS OF PRESSURE!?

    Fucking Russo, he killed Owen.

  • Comment removed

  • Wrestlers want nothing more then for the fans to be entertained and that way of thinking is the only way you have what it takes to become something the business. That being said I'd be willing to bet that if god and heaven are real then when Owen died and stood at the gates if God had Owen brought before him and asked if Owen if he wanted the show to end Owen would of looked God in the eye and said no the fans need to be entertained let the show go on. I believe its what Owen would of wanted.

  • vince is gonna die watch and hes going to hell thank god cuz he killed owen

  • If I was an entertainer. If I was a wrestler. All I want to do is to entertain the crowd. I would've continue the night. Idk, my mentality I guess.

  • Did any of you actually see the ppv... I seen the PPV and it was the weirdest thing ever. Once they finally announced he had passed away you had a weird feeling. What was really weird, was Lawler and J.R. trying to finish the show.. At the time many of us who watched wondered why it was still going on, just ruined the entire mood of the night.

  • @JimBrown2275 I saw it and during the whole Unertaker-Steve Austin match I just had an akward feeling. That being said I also remember bawling the next night on Raw is Owen, so it kinda went and ruined my whole week.

  • Vince isn't at fault. The Show should have went on, and it did. And Martha Hart is a walking, talking, CONTRADICTION. She's so upset about Owen's death she can put together a wrongful death suit and settle out of court for millions of dollars? Give me a break. I was big Hart Family Fan, Owen and Bret, hell all of them. But it was a freak accident, and that's that.

  • Vince russo killed wrestling all around fucking pussy and how in the hell he keep getting jobs

  • how would Vince make more money by continuing the show? The fans already bought the PPV, their tickets, their shirts, and their food. So this "documentary is biased and I think Vince did the right thing.
