There shouldn't be an age limit, but the Avenue Q pamphlet discourages people from bringing anyone under 13 to the show. The only age limit that was present when I watched was a venue-enforced policy of not allowing anyone under age 5 in so as not to distract the performers.

I saw this last Sunday and a whole bunch of old people left during intermission all up and arms about how they had never seen such a thing in their life, and how inappropriate that there were teenagers there. I enjoyed it a lot, it's one of my favorites.

funny story I seen Avenue Q on broadway back in feb..so amzing!..and I am 16 and was at the time and me and i think like 2 other like younge people were there..and some lady behind us said very sarcatic ," I would NEVER bring me child to this" to my mom and she liked gave her a look and told her to go fuck herself..it was pretty funny

this incredible musical mixes the realm that is in the thought for kids and kids only with material appropriate for everyone with the harsh realities of life, and, like the world it parodies, teaches lessons and makes you feel great about yourself. It's music varies from soft rock to that old Broadway ensemble music. It is incredible, like almost every musical on that street. I was in Big River, which isn't as god as Avenue Q, because Avenue Q is so incredible.

@sspdawg33 i feel a bit mad at my parents for not going to see avenue q instead of the producers, which, if you look under avenue q in the ratings list, was around 95% approved. they would've loved it!! and i might be going to see it as well, i can't wait.
