  • Good job : }

  • wow well done that really is excellent, you should be very proud!

  • This song is one of my favorites. I wish i could play it

  • Amazing! I Love This Song!

  • I can't play this song, I am a heavy meat eater!

  • @kitsune090 ah well, you are still allowed to enjoy the riff!

  • @buckleyboyben Only if it converts.

  • dam! i thought i was going to be the first person to have worked this out lol this is better than mine though gd job its in open e right?

  • Yep, this is in open E - upload a version though!

  • done

  • Go Vegan :D

  • It sounds great. Can you tab it please?? I need help with the tab

  • so I haven't had the time. Its really quite simple though. Start with the Am shape...

  • what are the chords to this song?

  • umm....they are not really chords, more chord fragments (well main riff anyway), I haven't tabbed it, perhaps it would be helpful if I did a close up vid?

  • @buckleyboyben There triads, which is a chord, A major is A C E. . . three notes its a chords.

  • no if you watch concerts filmed live, the guitar is tuned normal, with the smallest string 2 semitones lower, (and a capo on the 2nd fret - or tune all strings 2 semitones up afterwards)

  • Johnny said it was open D. Why would he write and record the song in open D, then perform it in another altered tuning, when he was already touring with 8-9 guitars to cover songs performed in open E(headmaster, stretch out and wait) and open G(cemetry gates) and open D(meat is murder). This is how it's played.

  • wow, amazing. First time I have seen anyone attempt this song in open D. You totally nailed it.

  • Cheers, I actually saw your blog entry on this song whilst looking for the tab, and noticed Johnny mentioned open D, and suddenly it all fell into place! thanks for that.

  • Thats cool! I've added your version to the blog. Hope you'll do some more covers in the future.

  • I'll try and keep 'em coming, but danielearwicker is the smiths-meister!
