A lot of the best performances are "over the top" or " okay, I guess" in your eyes. Maybe you don't see it, but to many of us watching these critiques you seem to be ignorant and pompous. Watch these auditions with an objective eye if you intend on offering a serious commentary. Otherwise, you come off as just a mean spirited and disgruntled individual--nothing more.

It's not just you: the stories suck this year. Everything sucks this year I am so bored already. I also miss the bad auditions and wish there was a balance. It's always either too many bad auditions and no good ones or too many good ones and no amusing ones.

I disagree with you on Shane Bruce. I think they should have passed him through. I think he would be liked by the young girls and he seems so innocent it's refreshing. Wrong song choice and nerves did him in.
