the iPhone may be great, but if you're looking for a good, clean environment with minimal flashy effects the newton is great.

Newton NOW in comparison is more focused in terms of what you can use it for. Its not a Swiss Army Knife type thing like the iPhone. Great for just getting things done the MessagePad.

Yep, sure can. Use a 56k modem card for faxing and emailing. I remember that Apple had a Newton OS Email app, there were others I think as well. I'd use one again simply for PIM/GTD, maybe eMail/News reading via WiFi, that would be good too but not a primary thing I think.

Just one question, do you know if the iPhone (I mean the real iPhone, haha) supports A2DP Bluetooth (you know, stereo high quality bluetooth audio). The reason I'm asking is because I have a bluetooth CD player from pioneer in my car and I love the fact that I can play mp3 music from my motorola phone without connecting cables to the pioneer unit.

Hi DP - glad you liked this video. To tell you the truth, I do not know the Bluetooth capabilities of the iPhone. I know it has it, and I know it will sync to a Bluetooth earpiece, but I am not sure if it will stream a stereo signal to your car audio unit.
