  • I just purchased CC3 last week and received it today. I've heard that it has a very steep learning curve, and while that seems to be true, I can't say enough about how much these tutorials have helped me as I've started to learn. It actually made learning some of the basics fun and, dare I say, easy.

  • What a bunch of illiterate complaining pussies. If you're too cheap to buy it just shut up. The real cheap dorks will try to pirate it. Everyone wants something for nothing, except when it's their something they want to sell. Grow up.

  • @MorgusPK How constructive. Unfortunately for Profantasy, the only price their stuff is available at less than RRP is nothing. PF's prices make it very much a case of 'steal our stuff, or we steal yours.' People will get so self-righteous about buying stuff until they cannot afford it.

  • @Tranxhead So by that logic, if you cannot afford it, steal it. Frankly, I've been out of work for three years, but I still managed to pay for it since I needed it. Attitudes like yours is what keeps theft and piracy an ongoing menace to creativity. People deserve to be paid for their productivity. Do you work for nothing?

  • I just have one question. Where IS your accent from?

  • @MusicMan53100 It costs money. Though I may recommend ThePirateBay,org.

  • What an ungrateful attitude...the tutorials are adequately labeled and organized.

  • I got this program now, so now i can recreate my hundreds of hand drawn maps in digital version, thanks for the tutorial! :)

  • Wow! Joe.... Thanks man! You should be getting a commision from P.F. Your tutorials have convinced me to purchase their software! You've done more than enough already but I do hope to see more new stuff from you and I will be checking out your site to see what other cool stuff you are involved with!

  • When i first got CC3 I was like "how the heck do you work this?" Now I know! thanks man!

  • Excuse me, sir, but I have a question. First off, I'd like to thank you for making this video and bringing this program to my attention. I am currently in the process of trying to create my own fantasy world for my Dungeons and Dragons games, and for use with my fantasy novels (which I have not yet written). I find myself having difficulties with mapping out the entire world, however, in a fairly quick fashion. Could you by any chance offer me some assistance or advice?

  • This is SO complicate. Check RPGplaneMapMaker out

  • Any way you can do a City Designer 3 tutorial my friend! Great videos!

  • is he using a different symbls package from the one they give you when you download it? i wach the other videos and alot of the vegetation and mountains look differnt from mine. my trees are just bushes (no trunks) and my mountains look like they were made in paint

  • I will do a spanish text-tutorial based on your videos. I will add a link to your tutorial and designate you as creator.

  • Why do I only have ugly non metric drawings from paint instead of the castles and ruins you have in the little left bar?

  • man, why not name your video parts by numbers instead of alphabet.. would make life easier for many I think :/

  • @RamboBlades Although using numbers would be a tad easier, it's no big deal. If it is, you have a bigger problem

  • @ShastaHawk Yes, my problem is being foreign and not flawlessly knowing English alphabet :p

    Nice tutorials anyway.

  • Fantastic. Thank you so much for your time to make and post these. Awesome!

  • A new set of tutorials on using Fractal Terrains to rapidly map in CC3 is being uploaded in the next few days.

    Best regards,

    JS

  • Search for "TPB campaign cartographer" on Google. Something should probably pop up. Maybe a DEMO or something... :) Great software anyways.

  • Just wanted to say that these are great for learning how to use the various tools of

    CC3.

    Thank You for posting them.

  • nice vid.

  • Good luck friend, maybe one day there make a demo untill then me and my friends just wont buy.

    Good luck

  • @StickManSR There is a tutorial.

    It's called piratebay.

  • i am not holding back, i just won't buy software unless i can try it first.

It may or maynot be what i need, and to get my money back i have to go thougth contacting them ,to much work.

Its the same reason i got xbox live so i can try the demos and if i like it then i buy it. There have been items before i liked and i bought them and hated it.

Demo's get sales its simple marketing, there are other programs just as easy which have demos and trails.

  • It may be the best, but i'm one of them people who like to try it out before i buy it out lol.

Demos are a great way for people to get into a program, if they make one im sure more people would buy program.

  • looks good, but i would not spend out money unless there was a demo for download.

  • This is an awesome video set. I've purchased CC3 and it's quite a daunting app. to learn.

I've managed to sorta stumble my way through it, but it definitely helps to have videos like this available.

    So... thanks for posting them!

  • Wagh, this would be the best if it had subtitles, not everyone understands spoken english (anyway i must admit you were'nt

    hard to understand)

  • is part 2 out?

  • Cool. When's part II coming out?
