Hey man, this happens a lot. I've lived in bad areas, if anyone gangster looking, and yes, all black people asking you to come to them, or to thier car, be forewarned.... you can get murdered, robbed, kidnapped etc. That has happend to me a lot, the whole come here thing, you say no thanks, and run if you have too. I hope they catch the suspect and give him life in prison without parole. He took a life, and he needs to spend his days in prison and lose the life he would have had had he not murdered another being. Being robbed of your freedom is worse than death, and he should lose his freedom indefinitly.

I think that the global high crime rate United States is proof that the death penalty is not a deterrant. However, having said that, they definitely deserve to be punished for life.

I don't mate. I don't agree with the current penal system either. Don't get me wrong. I just believe that until there's certainty of what we face in the after life, you're staying right here where I can make sure you pay for your crimes with suffering. Death is an easy way out. And some religions believe that we all go to heaven regardless of what you've done. Unconditional forgiveness. That's no punishment, is it?

Yes I am an Aussie. I'm not that spiritual either mate. I'd just be really pissed off if that's what happens. There's got to be another way. I haven't even brought up the argument of putting someone to death who was innocent ;-) Last man we hanged here in Australia ended up being innocent. That's why we don't have the death penalty any more. One reason why anyway.

Kalamazoo is on my list of places to go. It has the last remaining "Blackbird" on display. Looks like a nice part of the planet. I've been to Michigan before. Drove around like a lunatic and drank WAY too much. Had a great time. Some nice Greek restaurants in Detroit too. Cheers mate.
