i believe they are....Meine, Schenker, and Jabs are the only ones left from that era. Some polish dude playing bass and James Kottack playing drums these days. Still touring though...

@abney20 this is my opinion only, two different styles of rock ,if thats possible. the only weak album during that period for the scorpions, was animal magnetism. VH's women and children wasnt a monster either and by diver down they were doing covers....i dont want to even discuss 1984....I saw VH on the 1984 tour ,it was great in a showmanship way, but it was clear they werent firing on all cylinders. saw scorps twice, both times blew VH away, really great shows.

@royalarctic oooooo, you pulled the Maiden card...my favorite band bar none....lol.....having seen both tours (powerslave and love at first sting) I would say scorpions won out on sheer energy but Maiden won out on music and presentation

What are you talking about? Klaus' voice is just as good as 20 years ago. But even if it wasn't, the cutie is almost 60 years old AND has had 2 throat surgeries! How many of us can do what he does, much less so brilliantly? You need to hear some of their stuff off their new album and judge for yourself. To me, they are just as good!!! Rock on Scorps!
