If you have one, use a paint gun to apply this product in two or three thin coats. Mask off the painted areas or simply remove the front plate and light assemblies and paint them on a bench.
Where is the demo of that car being driven towards a speed trap?
It's just a weak solution of black paint and doesn't work!
Will the company pay speeding tickets for people caught using the product?
In the UK the company would be charged with Conspiracy To Pervert The Course Of Justice and the directors and users would be in prison for 5 years, plus a huge fine. The business would also be closed down straight away.
Radar Busters dot com are a bunch of salesmen - They claim to have 'good reviews', yet they don't review the detector that's been the #1 in many magazines and other sources: the V1 or Valentine One - If you don't believe me just look at resale prices on eBay - I sold my 10 year old V1 for $175. I sold my 2 year old one for $400 (minus tax and shipping).
Your applying veil to the lights because of the glass reflectivity, but i fail to understand how the small amount of glass can possibly compare to the huge reflector called the windshield. Can you explain that for me.
I believe at distance the windshield is not a viable option as it isn't flat it is curved and difficult to get a reading off.
That is why Pigs usually use your front lights or license plate as they are flat and easier to a reading at distance. Obviously as the car gets closer the pig can use the windsheild but by this stage you have had a lot longer time to either spot them or react to the radard detector.
@oboyoberta it's called cosign error. The reading off the windshield is much lower because it's angled to reflect lidar upwards. The signal that bounces back is weaker than a windshield that is 90 degrees to the lidar gun.
maybe you should learn a little more about the topics before you make statements like this...on Mythbusters, they were trying to beat photo enforcement for passing red lights and speeding; they were trying to beat the cameras...The Veil is for beating police laser speed acquisition by using laser guns...
Actually he's right, Mythbusters did an episode about radars and tried to build a 'steath' car using some urban legends around radar detectors (none of them worked). Although they were pretty tongue-in-cheek about it.
nice product

what id like to see is a car that only has one headlight done, then do the radar test.
bounce the gun back and forth between the 2 headlights.
im just real unsure about products like this.
i saw a Mithbusters show were they tested spray-on stuff and nothing worked.
