  • sure... portable....

  • You know whats ironic about this commercial was that it was shot on video...

  • Good, intelligent idea, just came a little too late.

  • Portable Player? FAIL xD

  • I was amazed when this came out. Then...well, then it was old almost instantly. Once saw an antique store that had dozens of these things -- cameras and players. I should have picked one up for old times sake.

  • I have this player but stupid me threw out the camera years ago, but the player still is with me and still works.

  • I have that camera and an old cartridge. I got them out of a dumpster that was behind a camera store that was going out of business a few years ago. I have never seen the player before. Cool video!

  • True - and at a HUGE loss in quality!

  • I think the quaity would be the same, maybe even better if the optics and pressure plate in the projector where of a higher standard than the Polaroid system.

  • Yes, we had waited YEARS for Polaroid to come out with instant movies and when they did....the Betamax was already out and the Age of the VCR was born. Besides, the Polaroid film HAD to be shown on their viewer. It was so grainy & blurry that it could not stand the magnification of a large movie screen. Too bad as it was too little, too late.

  • @KKD1247 From what I discern, the Polaroid Polavision had no sound.
