Even IF (and its a big if, there was a good chance if you ran you'd run out of time) Tech made the first down, there wasn't enough time left (like 1:15 left). If there was 3 minutes left I would've been worried (or even 2). Vandy isn't an ok team either, you just put them there to say you beat an okay SEC team. Vandy is terrible in every way in football now.
Maybe you didn't realize this, considering you're a uga fan, but uga completely changed their strategy in order to beat GT. They didn't throw many passes (in fear of them being intercepted) and they stacked the box to try and combat GT's triple option, forcing Tech to throw more passing yards than they ever wanted to. It worked. georgia was playing AGAINST GT while Tech was just trying to play football as normal. Didn't work out too well, but that's what next year is for.

second, gt has is a smaller school, has less football fans, and has a smaller stadium. if gt's enrollment was as high as uga's, their stadium was as big as uga's, and their fan base was big as uga's, then gt would probably rape uga's shit every year. uga has almost 15,000 more students than gt, and the average s.a.t. score for students at gt is nearly 200 points better than it is at uga, and your stadium is nearly 40,000 seats larger. i mean, no shit your football program is better!

Even IF (and its a big if, there was a good chance if you ran you'd run out of time) Tech made the first down, there wasn't enough time left (like 1:15 left). If there was 3 minutes left I would've been worried (or even 2). Vandy isn't an ok team either, you just put them there to say you beat an okay SEC team. Vandy is terrible in every way in football now.

Maybe you didn't realize this, considering you're a uga fan, but uga completely changed their strategy in order to beat GT. They didn't throw many passes (in fear of them being intercepted) and they stacked the box to try and combat GT's triple option, forcing Tech to throw more passing yards than they ever wanted to. It worked. georgia was playing AGAINST GT while Tech was just trying to play football as normal. Didn't work out too well, but that's what next year is for.

Good one guys! Quite funny I must agree. Just keep in mind you guys have won in the past. 7 times since I was born in 1981. You guys will win this year and maybe even next year, but UGA alum won't take that kind of crap for too long. Someone over in Athens will have their head removed and be fired, and things will get back on track. Good luck this year, you won't need it, but I'll say it anyways.
